Does anyone know of anything good I can make out of very little. My mom decided not to cook tonight and my sister just ate the leftover chicken wings. I heated a piece of calzone, but it was also a leftover and it was literally one inch wide...ok yeah, just please give me some ideas. Thanks!

Just do what I do. Just make yourself a bowl of cereal.

Have a salad and add all the bits and leftover pieces of veggies and meat and fruit.

Or boil some pasta and add a can of your favorite veggies. Let cool and add some salad dressing.

If you don't have a dressing, make one by adding one part oil to two parts vinegar, add a little mustard and a little honey, a little pepper and salt and some green herbs (dried are fine) and whisk with a fork until all the dressing ingredients are mixed really well. Pour over salad or pasta and eat.

Next time you make dressing you will remember what you like about this basic dressing and what you didn't and you can change it to suit your taste. You can make tasty salad dressing out of just about anything in your fridge.

My hubby likes the above salad dressing with peach jam instead of honey and red wine vinegar instead of plain vinegar.

this is super easy to make and your sister will think you are a natural born genius in the kitchen. Bet she wants some.

Stock up on Korean instant noodles! Just add in an egg when water is boiling. If you have left over meat...throw in too! Cook in 5 mins! You can find the noodles in a local Korean store.

When you say out of very little, do you mean very little food or very little money? I don't know what food you have. Tell your mom you're hungry or ask her for a few dollars so that you can go to the store and buy you some microwaveable Stoufer's Lasagna.

Sounds like you have a LOT of options to choose from. :) I would suggest the PB & J or the tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich. For dessert...look in the cupborad for a can of fruit.

If you've got bread and eggs and a little sugar, make yourself some French Toast. Put some peanut butter and syrup on it and munch...good breakfast for supper.
