I drink two bottles of wine per night on average, but I am responsible. I drink and do my school responsibilities and get up for work every morning. People have started to get after me about it...

My Anthro college class is having an ethnic food day where everyone, about 50 people, each bring a type of food to share with everyone. The professor asks for unique items but most likely people will bring donuts to still bring something in.

What suggestions do you recommend? I dont have time to cook up a feast nor a lot of cash. Donuts seems like a good choice but most likely others will take it. So what else can I take? Thanks!

I decided for their gift, I want to make a nice treat from scratch and wrap it up all pretty. Here are the stipulations:
1. They can't handle spice, of any sort--so no cinnamon or nutmeg and especially no fruitcake!
2. I would like to bake something I can freeze, then pop in my suitcase for the flight home for Christmas.
3. I've done frosted Christmas cookies for them before, so I'd like to try something different.
What ideas do you have?

Recently I made a pork tenderloin (roasted) and a chicken stew. Both were tasty, except that the meat turned out dry. Am I overcooking? Could low-quality meat be to blame (unlikely with the pork, but the chicken was from a Costco bag that had been in the freezer for two months)? Thank you!

Do you like to make it using milk, or do you like to make it with water & then pour milk on top of it? And also, when making it with milk, which taste better: the regular old fashioned kind or the 1 minute kind?

I constantly hear that fruit is really nasty, but is there anyone who actually likes it. I've never tried it, but i know its a sucky gift to get for Christmas.
