I had a really lovely drink of Passoa and Pineapple juice at a friend's once and since then I've been after a bottle of Passoa. It was sooooooooo yummy! I've looked every time I've been in Sainsbury's and Tescos but have always been unsuccessful! Does anyone know where I can buy it in the UK? Desperate for it!
My friend moved away to Canada and I lost contact with her so I can't ask her where she got it from unfortuanately.

Just out of interest...has anyone else ever had this drink? What did you think of it? (It's alcoholic by the way)

Thanks :o)

I am looking for a recipe to make what I think is called, bark ?? I have had it and loved it but can't find a recipe for it,or the actual name. it is a hard toffee, similar to the candy bar heath. that is covered in chocolate with maybe some crushed nuts on top or crushed M&M's.
If any of you know what I am talking about and can help me I would be greatly appreciative.

I'm supposed to bring in some Indian food or dish to food class but I'm not sure what to. (I'm not indian, but one of my neighbors is and she's going to help me out with this.) Since everyone in my class is white, I was wondering which Indian foods or dishes they would like, so I can have some idea of what to make. (by the way, it has to be vegetarian because my neighbor is vegetarian).

thanks!

How long does it take to digest one whole bagel? Does water speed up the process? What about a bagel with cream cheese?

Any new ideas for what to serve at a holiday brunch? Please keep in mind that it needs to vegetarian friendly and that includes no fish (fish is not vegetarian food). So far I was thinking of a bagel bar with various toppings (flavored cream cheeses, chopped onions, capers etc. but I need more ideas. Thanks!

Does anyone have any recommendations regarding tasting and buying of champagne in bulk in the area surrounding Reims and the champagne valley?

I'm looking for a good one or two wine cellars and tasting areas to visit.

Does anyone have a cute recipe for a christmas party treat. Last year I made mice cookies. I would like to make something this year that is "eye-catching" and cute. Any ideas.

Aspartame is an artificial sweetener that is also known under its brand name of Sorbitol.
It appears in many processed foods - diet and otherwise (e.g. in the UK every make of 'Lemonade' contains it.)
You can easily spot which products contain aspartame as the manufacturers now include a statement (or should that be warning/disclaimer) at the bottom of the ingredients list that the product contains "a source of Phenylalanine".

If I consume this product I develop a headache which is like a square block of dull aching pain at the top of the head, which lasts for around three days. Also since I've avoided taking it I no longer get those occasional sharp shooting pains which feel like a hot knife being plunged into the brain.

Anyone else had similar effects from aspartame?

Is this the correct term for the plastic half spoon half fork utensils that you get in canteens?

They are spoon shaped but have mini prongs at the front.
