i can't help you out with the pie but steak is my favorite...
First you have to get a charcoal!! grill then make sure the steak is thawed out if your getting it from the freezer (i dont recomend using the microwave.) Then season it with salt and pepper and a little onion salt. then lightly brush with KC master peice original and put it on the grill. make sure the grill is hot enough! then after 5 min. have passed or until all the liquid from the sauce is gone brush it again with a second coat. continue doing this for 10-15 min. depending on how you like our steak. then pull it off and enjoy.=)

i made this for my mother in law last week and she loved it.
diced beef ,about 500g for two, i can of guiness, couple of onions , some mushrooms, optional, salt , pepper, and frozen puff pastry from shops.
in a big pan put splash of oil, tablespoon enough, turn on gas / electric, let pan get very hot.
carefully put in beef, and switch on extractor fans, try and brown off meat but may be difficult as lots of water comes out of it.
add about a half tablespoon of flour to meat and stir well make sure you scrape of the browny bits on bottom of pan. Then add guiness, and mix well, use all the can. put a lid on the pan and cook out for about 1-1.5 hours. Mine was cheap beef so took about 1.5 hours, season near end .
put into a deep dish about 8inch by 8 inch, leave to cool slightly.
roll out pastry till about 5mm thick place over dish and press onto sides. make a small hole in middle of pastry to let steam out when cooking. put in oven about 160-180 degrees for 1 hour or until pastry is golden brown.
end
served mine with mash and roast carrots/turnip.
mother in law thinks i am a star!

Its best to use filo pastry

For a proper recipe, its probably a much better idea to search the web for one. Try the BBC's food website.
