Cost and flavor. For instance, when I buy chocolate, I typically buy a candy bar for my kids, but hardly ever buy baking chocolate.

Well seeing as you said Chocolate and not Chocolate bars, I assume you are talking about chocolate for baking, in this instance, price then quality I find. Quality rating from my super market in my oppinion;Calabue, lindt, real chocolate by whomever, then chocolate flavored "chocolate". Don't but fake chocolate no matter how cheap it is, it's repulsive!

For baking? I buy one that has a rich flavor. I prefer Ghiradelli baking chocolate in chocolate chip cookies.

i look for the wrapper to say Ghiradelli Chocolate on it because that is all that really matters when it comes to chocolate ! :)
