I've surfed the web, and asked around....but I either get told that I can't have the recipe or it's way to complicated or weird. I just want a simple dressing/stuffing recipe that's not cooked in a bird, doesn't have fruit in it, and is made with bits of celery and cornbread. It's just old fashioned home cooked stuffing, and I'd like to make a large batch of it for Christmas, but I don't have a clue as to what do to. Please help!!

We're going to a Christmas party in a few weeks. I usually only drink on these occasions.

My question is what drinks have the most alcohol in them? To give you some ideas of what I like: Margaritas, and Amaretto Sour.

Any help would be great. Thanks so much.

I have had store-bought bone-in chicken breasts in the package (non-frozen) for about 5-6 days and took it out today to cook, but there are small white spots all over them, like powder. Is it mold and should I throw the chicken away?

I need a Christmas present for my father. He likes Italian food, or generally anything with lots of tomatos, basil, and olive oil, and he likes robust wines that go with that sort of thing. Examples would be Coppola Rosso (a relatively inexpensive table wine), Seghesio zinfandel, Ravenswood zindfandel, and many Washington State merlots -- notably Canoe Ridge. Hedges CMS is another favorite.

I'd like to get him a really good Italian wine like many of those I mentioned are imitating, a Barolo or Barbaresco probably, but I'm relatively ignorant about them. I would welcome specific suggestions, but I'm also interested in general information -- what vintages are good, etc. The ideal wine would be Italian, under $50, and full-bodied and complex without being overpowering.

I need to get some easy, wholesome recipes to try out. I am 3 months pregnant, and have horrible heartburn and nausea.
My fiancee is allergic to chicken, and an enzyme in leafy green vegetables (weird, I know)... so I really need something healthy, not green, not chicken (or something I can add chicken on the side), and suitable for my 4 year old son.
Any foods specifically suitable for pregnant ladies would be great, or any websites... thanks

Who has it? Honestly, I love Progresso lentil soup and have tried tons of recipes but haven't found anything as good. I'd like to continue my search, but maybe with some input from the good people of Y!A instead of stabbing out blindly at whatever looks decent. I'm vegetarian, by the way, so no ham hocks or sausage.

P.S. If you're going to answer with "buy the canned stuff" then please don't bother. Thanks.

Ok, I'm not a vegetarian or vegan, but I do try to eat things that aren't really bad for me. A couple of times my wife bought veggie dogs for my son and I tried them and more than once I wound up with a splitting headache. Why?

I saw a recipe for oreo "truffles" made with oreos, cream cheese, and chocolate, and it sounded great. I lost the recipe, and if anyone has it I would appreciate it, but all the recipes I find seem to say that you remove the cream, and I didn't think you had to in the version I saw.
