I have celiac disease, which means I can't have gluten, which is in wheat, rye, barley and oats.

I have found some really good gluten-free cake mixes (honest), and would like to do some cake decorating. I love those wonderful sculpted decorations, which I learned were usually made from gum paste.

I haven't been able to find a list of ingredients. Even the Wilton site doesn't say. Does anyone have a container of the powdered mix and/or the premade gum paste that can post the ingredients? Or anyone else who is gluten intolerant who has experience with it?

Thanks!

Nancy

I like to my meals with hot sauce, I keep getting stronger hot sauce, and it doesn't feel that hot anymore in a few weeks. Will it hurt me if I eat so much hot sauce? are there any documented benefits and harm eating hot sauce in a regular basis?

Many times if you eat the whole can you could get 90% of your daily sodium, the amounts are astronomical. There are some brands that allow you to add salt to taste, and others that are lower. It seems so unnecessary, and some of these brands are suppose to be healthy for you.

I'm interested in other cultures and thought that this might be fun. In our country, the intestines, head, and feet of chicken are sold as street food. There's also the deep-fried day-old chick, duck's egg, snails, field mouse, monitor lizard, to name quite a few.

I like homemade macaroni and cheese better, my best friend likes the kind that comes from boxes, doesn't matter if it's Kraft or whatever, she just likes it better. I say that it's worth it to get all the ingrediants ready and make it yourself. Which do you prefer??

I want to make quickbread in an empty yam can. I saw it in Martha Stewart Dec 2004 issue -- I remember it saying something about lined cans. But I can't remember whether it said to use a lined can or NOT to use a lined can. Does anyone know, or do you have the issue to check? THANKS!
