1997 was a rather poor vintage throughout Bordeaux. Timberlay is not exactly a top growth.

Wine Spectator gave the wine 80 points out of 100 back in 2000 and even then they suggested "drink now."

I'd say drink it up.

don't know but a bottle of Newcastle Brown ale is 1.59 in tesco
