Something they studied in his preschool class about eating veggies started this. He likes meat and everything, and I tried to explain to him that some people don't eat meat because of religious beliefs, health reasons, and because of their thoughts about eating animals. Then he said he didn't want to eat animals anymore. I asked him if he realized that included fish sticks and he hesitated. Should I let it go and try to find out what he really wants and if so do you think it is safety for him to go without the protein from meat?

I am having a tailgate party for my husband's company. I said I would have an assortment of beers. What kind of beer do most people drink (sorry - I am a creature of habit - so I don't know).

I thought maybe one or two foreign beers as well. Is dark beer popular with the 30-50 crowd?

Also, I thought I would have one red and one white wine (merlot and chardonnay)

Thanks

What is the thing you have done while intoxicated that you regret the most? I'm being serious here. If you say "I got drunk and slept with the neighbors dog" I will kick you.

I'm going to be making a Korean dinner for about 50 people. Bulgogi, Jahb-Chae, & wings. I've made this meal for my family at Christmas, and for small dinner parties before, but never for as large a group as this. I'm a little concerned that it may not turn out (especially the Bulgogi) due to the weird thing that happens when you quadruple a recipe. Any suggestions or recipes for groups of 50??? I'll be doing this within a week! Thanks for any suggestions!

Does anyone have a chili recipe that will "stand out"? Possibly using a combination of meats. It can be beanlesss. Could be hot but not necessary. Some friends are hosting a Chili Cookoff this weekend and I want to WOW them.

OK, I have a bottle of Gin, do I now just drank half, and top it up with the Sloe berries I've collected from Blackthorn bushes? Surely there's some more detail e.g. do I prick the berries to puncture the surface, how much sugar to add, any other flavour enhancing tips? How long to ferment?

Does anyone remember when they very first brought out an alcoholic lemonade? Before anyone dreamt up the name alco-pop.
It was like a cloudy lemonade, then a bit later they released an orange one too. It's doing my head in trying to remember the name. I'm talking about 10-12 years ago I think.
