Epazote is called wormweed here in the US and it not often used, but in Mexican cooking it is used in beans to aid in digestion, it makes them less gassy. I have read reports online that eating alot of it can help things like menstrual cramps, but extreme and prolonged use may effect hearing. Anybody know?

I was in a hurry one day, and hadn't made it in a long time, so I just glanced at the package and put 2 cups of water in! Am I the only one!

I was just wondering...what's your favorite Italian meal?

It may just be my imagination, yet when I taste certain wines, especially from Italy and France, they have a certain taste/aroma to them which is similar to the smell of very old castles, wine cellars and structures in those countries. I certainly can flavor the oak barrels the wine was aged in, however, can the surrounding atmosphere also affect the flavor of the wine? With some wines this sensation is very strong to me, and I am reminded of the castles and medieval structures I have visited. It is much like how I associate a perfume with a certain person, when I smell it independently of that person, I am reminded of him/her.

I'm not a hugely nit-picky person, but it bugs me when people within a 20 foot radius of my desk eat canned tuna. I try not to bring things to work that are too crunchy or smell strongly and generally don't care what other people bring. But tuna...tuna gets to me...

So freaking tasty. And it's shaped like bats for halloween! They're called "peppermint patti batties" and are much better than what I brought to work for my real lunch.

I love these sembei crackers by Daiei Trading Company. They are so expensive at the local Asian grocer. I was wondering if there is somewhere I can buy these food products online? I tried the actual company website but their products are limited online. It'd be great to find a company that carries a wide variety of their products. Please help!
