Mmmm........'Sandwich' comes to mind. you sound like me
(a student). Cheaper if you make them yourself but inconvenient. You won't afford anywhere in London however, you could have the buffet in China Town for £4.99 all you can eat between 12 and 2 pm (but that's one meal)

Try to buy filling food like baked potatoes , bananas, egg or cheese sandwich , soup and plenty water...but if you want to be on £5 daily budget( that's £35 a week!!!) may i suggest you to make your own sandwiches at home and only buy fruits and water throughout the day ...you'll save much more money and you'll enjoy designing your own meals.

I honestly don't think you can provide yourself with three meals a day, eating out, for £5 a day in London. You are far better off cooking at home if you can.

buy a loaf of bread and something to go in it.....u could then get sandwichs for a few days for less than a fiver and save up to have a good meal once a week. Or you could get a tin of beans or a bag of pasta if u have somewhere to cook...tho u say eating out. Is that 3meals a day out?! Bit excessive!

Breakfast: 1 croissant, 1 tub of yoghurt. Buy a bottle of water and take occasional swigs during the day.

Lunch: Cornish pasty.

Dinner: Go to a health food store, such as Holland and Barrett, and buy packets of nuts and dried fruit. These will sustain you.

You basically have to get sandwiches or pies from bakers or supermarkets. A cooked meal in a London restaurant costs around £10.

It's a toughie for a fiver. There's the Pizza hut all you can eat buffet at lunchtime (midday until 2:30pm) but it might just go over the fiver. wait till the evening and several places have all you can eat buffets but closer to 8 quid!!!

You sound like a student ..I'm guessing you could get together with other mates and share your resources maybe try and cook together once a day and take it in turns to provide the ingredients? otherwise london is going to be very miserable for you this winter..
