Actually there are supposed to be some quite good roses now. I'm serious. The New York Times food section has had at least two articles recently regarding this -- in other words according to them, rose is a hot trend. I'm serious, go to www.nytimes.com and search the archives for "rose" and "wine" within about the past 6 months. So since some people will regard rose as a fashionable drink they might want to try, you can wait till you have a party, and put the rose bottle on the bar so people - especially those who may have seen wine columns about newly fashionable rose - will have a third option besides just white and red.
Otherwise, you could use it to cook some sort of South of France type dish - rose being a thing from the South of France. I'm thinking some sort of poulet au vin involving, like, rosemary and garlic and maybe some onions and potatoes. Something where you might ordinarily use white wine.

I think that using it for cooking or giving it as a gift to someone else who might appreciate it are good ideas.
I have to add - I think your overall attitude is very poor. Rose' is not a horrible wine and it was a gift (which took thought).
To be honest I feel sorry for whoever gave it to you. I don't think you a very nice friend, let alone person. I have been given many gifts that were not necessarily to my taste, but I have always shown appreciate - not scorn.

Re-gift it. Not everyone hates Rose wine.
Use it in recipies that call for wine but don't need fancy wine.

wrap it up and give it to somebody else. Then you could make up a trace website and see how many people really won't drink it

Use it in cooking, like sherry - saute chicken in it. infuse it with herbs, mix it with oil and make an oil and vinegar dressing out of it.
