I have used canola oil - double fry , low temp then high - and while the crispness and texture of the fries are very good, I am not satisfied with the taste of the fries. There is a very slight 'off' taste that I attribute to the oil. I get it at Costco and maybe its not the best quality . But maybe there is a better oil for french fries.

How do you pronounce "Zabar's"?

In the film "You've Got Mail" Kathleen went shopping at the supermarket in Upper Manhattan named "Zabar's" I want to know how "za" is pronounced. Like "zei" or "za"? In other words, "z-eight" or "z-ant" All my friend (Japanse) read it as "z-a-bar" Is it correct?

What is a food or drink that youv'e ate in your life and has calories that doen't come from something green.

It has to be something you can eat or drink and has calories exaple you say water its a drink and it doesn't come from something green you think your right but your not because it has no calories.My science teacher asked me this question I think its an impossibel question but its not cause theres an answer plese help me out answer ASAP.Like a type of plant when i say green.
