OK, I have recently become vegetarian after doing alot of research on how animals are killed and all that..I just recently found out Cheese is made from the inner lining of calves..SO..my question is..is there a GOOD alternative/replacement to use in place of cheese? I cook alot of things with cheese so I am a little confused on this...Is all cheese made with rennet?

My husband has always worked as a subcontractor and was able to come home for lunch or if he was very busy would skip lunch. Now (after rupturing a hernia for the second time) he is working an office job and is too far away to come home so he has been eating fast food five days a week. I've been telling him to pack a lunch and he wouldn't do it. Now 3 months and 10 pounds later he is ready to pack a lunch but doesn't want sandwiches everyday. I'm not too creative for lunches, but want him to stop with the fast food, so any advice?

I have drank coffee/caffeine for about 12 years now. Everytime I try and cut back on consumption or just go cold turkey from drinking coffee, I get very bad pressure headaches. I once went for about 2 weeks cold turkey and still had daily headaches from caffeine withdrawl. Anyone have some suggestions on what may aid me in my quitting caffinee?

I found an old bottle in the cabinet. Wondered if it's vinegar now or something rare and fabulous. I have the feeling it's garbage, I think it's the kind of wine you want to drink while it's young. Anyone know?

I have been a lacto-ovo vegetarian on moral grounds since I was 11-years-old. This is very very important and huge factor in making up who I am. Somehow, people never seem to understand. They give me funny looks like I'm nuts and MOST of them even say things like "I'm gonna make you the best steak ever" or "Here, want a bite of my hamburger?" except for the very few who comment on just how cool it really is. And I do think it's cool. It was an idea presented to an 11-year-old and something that wound up sticking throughout adolesence, teen years, and young adulthood. It is me! I really just want to know how to help others accept that other people having an opinion or lifestyle other than their own is not only NOT wrong, but right! That is, after all, what the world runs on...where would we be if we all looked, acted, and thought the same?!? C'mon, people!

I love the thick Hot Chocolate that they drink in Spain. I've missed it since I've returned to the US. Last time I visited Spain I noticed that the bartender was using powdered chocolate, so I noted the brand and I bought a container before I returned (to California), but try as I might, I couldn't get the chocolate to thicken. Do California cows not make the right milk?
