I took two frozen salmon steaks out of the freezer on Sunday Aug. 6 and immediately put them in the fridge to defrost. I'd like to cook them for dinner tonight (Thursday, Aug. 10). Is this safe, or salmonella?

Hey you, a new world-wide law has been enforced.
From now on, you can only eat one thing until the day you leave this earth.

Right Example: Boiled Broccoli. (That means it can only be boiled. Not sauteed one day, steamed the next, etc. Boiled means boiled forever).

Wrong Example: Cookies. (Specify one TYPE of cookie, such as peanut butter)

:) Thanks!

I have four juicy pieces of steak and i was wondering how i could prepare the wonderful meat for my anniversary, without burning it or cooking it on the barbeque. Any ideas. Also any romantic ideas for the rest of the meal would be helpful also. Its our one year anniversary.

Apricots have a fuzzy skin--are you supposed to remove them prior to eating or can they just be eaten? I'm trying apricots for the first time.

I found this on the internet and was going to make it tonight, but I thought maybe when I mixed in the seasoning and water it would be runny and this says it will get thick. DO you guys think it will get thick?
