bought a watermelon wed, and took it back today cuz it was pick inside, got another one, just cut into it and its pink also, but it tastes ok, not real sweet though, but is it ok to eat. dont want to drive to town to take another one back,

Its fine no matter the color. There are watermelons with yellow flesh.
Red is the best tasting though.
None will make you sick though some people do have bowel problems with watermelon no matter what kind it is.

Yes. Pink watermelon is okay to eat. It's just not as sweet as red watermelon. The redder a watermelon is, the sweeter it is. The color has nothing to do with getting you sick.

Its fine....just probably like you say, not as sweet as a deeper red one. I just bought my first YELLOW watermelon last week.. Tastes the same but looked like it was pineapple.

watermelon is good nomatter if its pink or if its deep red it just depends on your taste buds and what you like

No it will not make you sick. Next time knock on it. If it sounds hollow,it's ready to eat.
