I used to be mad about the coloured sheets you could buy in a sweet shop but you don't seem to get them anywhere now. I even buy packets of the white stuff you can use for cookery!

Why don't spirits have nutrition information on the bottle?

This information must be on all packaged foodstuffs and (vokka, rum, gin, whiskey, etc.) do contain calories (mostly from sugar) amongst other food values.

Can you get drunk without alchol?

My wife had to have her gall bladder removed after being misdiagnosed by the NHS for 4 years! This has left her unab;e to enjoy her favourite foods and alcoholic drinks, as her pancreas can no longer handle them. Is there an alternative to drinking alchol without the bad effects? And is there anything she can take to help keep her pancreas strong?

Who loves chocolate?

What really gets me about it is that it's healthy; the only prob that comes with chocolate is if we eat 4 million bars a week and we get fat; so the chocolate's not unhealthy it's *only* the fat that is.

Can someone tell me how to cook a joint of meat - every time I try it turns out dry and horrible.?

I got a slow cooker cos I heard they were good - but how long do you cook joints for? I cant find a book that gives simple recipies when using them. It would save me a lot of time when I restart uni (I got two very hungry kids!)

Any advice would be gratefully received
