i need answers withn photoes of chickpea

There are two types of chickpea:

Desi - "with small, dark seeds and a rough coat (prevailing in the Indian subcontinent, Ethiopia, Mexico, Iran)"
Kabuli- "with light-coloured, larger seeds and a smoother coat (mainly grown in S Europe, N Africa, Afghanistan, introduced to India only in the 18th cent., Chile)."[[1]]
The Desi form is also known as Bengal gram or chana. The Kabuli form is the kind grown e.g. in the Mediterranean today. The desi-type closely resembles those seeds found on archaeological sites and the wild ancestor, so it is probably the earlier form. Desi-type chickpeas are said to have a very low glycemic index[2] making it good for many people with blood sugar problems.

I agree with Anne who answered you before me....plus these chickpeas are used to make "hummus" a dip in the middle east... you take the mashed cooked peas and add tahini which is a sesame seed paste..plus garlic and lemon juice and parsley if you like....combine it together and use as a appitizer or "falafel" a fried chickpea ball mixed with spices and fried then put inside pita bread with lettuce, onion and tomato and a sauce over it made from yogurt or sour cream, garlic and cucumber, salt and pepper. this sauce is great used with the greek sandwich called a "gyro".....beef/lamb grilled sliced thin in pita bread with lettuce tomato onion and this yogurt sauce in greek called "taziki".....each nationality uses the chickpea but cooked differently with different spices...in some cafes the chickpea is used in ordinary salads....one thing for sure they take a long soaking and cooking so read up on them before you use the dried ones....I buy the canned ones so it doesn't take all day. good luck ....enjoy your "chickpeas"

same thing as a garbanzo bean-sometimes called ceci (in italian I believe) small roundish bean-white with a small point on one end-usually in the grocery store by the canned kidney-pinto beans.

OH WELL!! the first two has the best ans!! We just call them "Filed peas" DUH!! what do we southern types know??
