Scale ingredients to servings
1/5 part gin
1/5 part 151 proof rum
1/5 part Jose Cuervo® Especial gold tequila
1/5 part Absolut® vodka
1/5 part Jack Daniel's® Tennessee whiskey
fruit
2 cans fruit punch
ice cubes

Mix all ingredients into a large cooler, punch bowl or garbage can (a new one). Cut larger fruit into pieces and add.

Traditionally, hairy Buffalo was a concoction made a a huge vat or container. You add whatever kinds of fruit- watermelon, berries, apples- whatever and you pour vodka or rum over the fruit and let it soak. The fruit sort of absorbed the alcohol, and the alcohol absorbed fruit flavors. Use a ladle to serve the liquid. I have not seen that done for many years though.
