Pig!

I knew a guy who once went to a car place that was offering a discount on washing and waxing. In celebration they were grilling hot dogs and hamburgers and offering them for free. It was some kind of summer promotion. He WALKED over there to get the free food. He didn't even have a car.

I think it is rude and disgusting.

Moochers (like from the Juicy Fruit commercials!)
Dont' you just hate those people.
It sickens me the most when they come to a birthday party, not wish the birthday boy/girl a great day or give a gift, eat half teh food, and leave unnoticed.

G'day 424,

Thanks for the question.

Personally, I would call them freeloaders. The American Heritage Dictionary defines freeload as "To take advantage of the charity, generosity, or hospitality of others."

Wikipedia states Freeloader can refer to several things:

* Someone who attempts to get something, usually a service or employment, for nothing, or as little work as possible, usually implying laziness; see also leech or fare dodgers

* (In the UK) Someone who continually takes advantage of other people's hospitality/generosity while giving nothing in return.

I hope you don't come across too many.

Regards

This person's food budget is quite strapped.

Perhaps call him "starvin' Marvin."
