Hey Sun,

First part:

Vodka or Gin

Second Part:

Up or Rocks (just chilled or on ice)

Then:

Dry, perfect or sweet (amount of Vermouth) OR Dirty (with Olive juice)

Lastly:

What kind:

Gibson: with cocktail onions
Twist : with Lemon twist
Olive : with olive speared

Appletini: with apple pucker
Cape Style : with Cranberry juice

OTHER FLAVORS INCLUDE:

Black
Chocolate
Rasberry
Banana
Red
Pink

and the list goes on and on.

But you know the basics now!

There are a ton of different martini's. Check with the restaurants you go to, and try them all.

Gin or Vodka first of all, and your preference as of brand. You then can order a specialized martini such as a cosmopolitan, black martini, blue martini, or Gibson. The list is endless and many places have a list of their own type of martinis.

Do mean flavored? There are a myriad. Appletini, chocolate, cherry, etc. You can also get a variety of regular martinis. I prefer a dirty martini.

There are only two true martinis. Vodka and vermouth and Gin and vermouth. anything else is just a cocktail in a martini glass
