i love them off the vine(i have a tomato plant)...but i need to slice it up and put a little bit of salt on it then it is just right...

There isn't anything better than a tomato straight off the vine!....it's nice and warm and makes the best tomato sandwich you ever had.....nice soft bread, mayo, sliced tomato, warmed from the sun, and salt and pepper!....yummy....different variations are add a slice a cheese or toast the bread or both!

Definetely right off the vine! Besides I have sensitive teeth so biting into a cold tomato just gives me the chills. lol :-)

The minute a tomato hits the fridge, the flavor starts to evaporate. Never refrigerate tomatoes. That being said, I do prefer to rinse all the bugs off before I eat one.

Ask anyone who knows about food(chef), tomatoes are not to be refrigerated.They lose flavor.
