yes, it will thicken because the taco seasoning has corn starch in it

If there's any thickening agents in the taco seasoning, then it could get a little thick. I would cook the chicken in the liquid until the chicken was done and bring the liquid to a boil and let it boil until the peppers were a little wilted. If you don't like your peppers wilted, then take them out sooner. Keep boiling the liquid until there's a little left. Then pour that over the chicken and the peppers.

It probably will because taco meat gets thick when you add a pkg of taco seasoning. This actually sounds very good, i think i'll write it down and make some. Thanks. Here is an easy dessert, key lime pie. Mix 1 can eagle brand milk and 2/3 can frozen limade (or to taste) then stir in one tub cool whip and put it in a graham cracker crust,. put it in the freezer and it will be ready for after dinner. It is easy and great

Modify the recipe a bit...use some of the seasoning to season chicken strips...sear on all sides in skillet w/ a bit of oil.

Mix chicken broth and all ingredients in another pot and bring to boil. Once at boil pour in pan with chicken. let simer over medium heat uncovered...keep flipping chicken so it's all cooked...will probably take 10-15 min...sauce will reduce

Any liquid will cook down if given enough time.

I marinate my meat in olive oil, lemon juice, lotsa garlic, fajita seasoning (I guess taco seasoning would do) and cilantro or parsley for at least an hour. I throw this on the griddle with fresh sliced peppers and onions. This doesn't produce a gravy.

Read the label on the taco seasoning. It contains starch, usually corn starch. This will thicken up and create a sauce. I suggest you dissolve the taco seasoning in cold water, and heat it up, starch dissolves in cold water and lumps in hot water.

i think with all the simmering, most of water will turn to steam and not make this too runny. You can always add less water in and add extra if it is too thick at any point.

Yes it will get thick, because the water (or chicken broth) will evaporate (called a reduction).

Bake one extra 10-15minutes because of fact the blend would be less warm once you initiate.

no, it probably will become thick because (a) the seasoning is likely to contain a thickening agent, and (b) water will evaporate as you cook it.
