okay. so i have liked this guy who doesn't know i live for a while now.
i know him through friends and other things so he's always on my mind. i don't know how he can hurt me so bad... and yet make me feel so great at the same time.i feel like i need to stop dreaming,and the new year seems like a great time.

so where and how do i begin to get over him?

Alright, well i was at the mall with my boyfriend not too long ago and i saw some mens sweaters and thought they were cute and told him. He wasn't crappy or anything but said they weren't his favorite but also that he hadn't wore one in a long time. He also told me that if i bought him one he would wear it and probably like it bc (not to be concieted) but i have a good fashion sense. So i was at Express in the men's section and bought him a striped gray/ white sweater. It's pretty simple.

I just want to know your opinion. Was this a bad choice? Please go into detial

Ok, so now its Christmas break from school, and i want to ask this guy i like to hang out because we never really get a chance to talk. He's in 11th grade and im in 10th so we dont have any classes together. I dont have his number, but hes my friend on myspace
How should i ask him if he wants to hang out? I dont want to seem to eager though.

well, theres this guy at school who i said i liked him, and he emailed me back saying he liked me back, and another one of my guy friends tried to persuade him to date me, and he's confusing me becuz he said he likes me...and he just plain won't ask me out....and i want him 2!!!! what's wrong with him, or me, and what should i do?!?!

Been together for two months and asked him for an idea for an xmas present since he asked me what i wanted. They only thing he told me was that he liked choclate covered peanuts, almonds and cashews. Seriously, it's like in all these things you read and hear about from friends and in general, guys have to do all these different things now to exude their confidence and maintain the comfort level of the lady. That's all good and all, but it is actually quite a pain in the ***.

I am a tactful, friendly, honest and personable guy with good qualities but while I can get a date (not being conceited) I can't get past the first one.

This is frustrating, what happened to being yourself?

Why do men have to pander in order to have a relationship these days, and why does it seem to work so seamlessly for everyone else I see out there.

Especially with the holidays sometimes I get extremely discouraged. For someone who puts himself out there, I feel I deserve better.

He is perfect. The problem is he's too perfect. He is incredibly intelligent, way more than anyone I have ever known that its sometimes shocking. He is the most gifted artist I have ever seen and his art takes my breath away. He is praised immensely by all the teachers who are too stunned to believe this work. He is a great athlete and unnaturally talented musician. He is very good looking, tall, and handsome. The teachers and adults in my school just look at him with awe and are unsure how to deal with such a talented being. He is also very social.
I know that for some reason he is intrested in me but I do like him a lot. But I don't know how I can handle being with him. I feel like I can't measure up to him in any way. There is nothing unique or special about me. I'm just normal, and average. How do you handle being with a person like this? A person who is praised constantly and admired by everyone. It's so much pressure for me. What would you do?

Ok my partner and i have been together for 6months now and in other things the relationship is great apart from one thing.....

I really like this guy and he knows i like him but he wont say if he likes me, but since he found out i liked him we havent talked. Tomarro is the last day of school until after christmas break. I wont to do something so he will remember me over the break, but i dont know if i am ready to talk to him yet. So if anyone has any good ideas on wut i should do, that would be great! Also he has been looking at me a lot, and he smiled at me once in the hall but i was licky i caught it, if you can tell by this if he likes me or not that would also be great to know. if this kid you thought was really cute and nice just stoped talking to you. and then you find out that your best friend brutily asked him why he was leading you on. [he wasn't leading me on at all, we talked when we could and sometimes we'd talk on the phone] but it wasn't like he told be how much he likes me and then one day he doesn't talk and stuff. to me he wasn't leading me on. i was mad when she told me that she had asked him that, but hey it was too late for me to get mad.
so hes stoped talking to me. and now that we're on christmas break i won't be able to tell him in person that i don't know where my friend was coming from and that i'm not one of those clingy girls that fall in love quickly.
so should i call him now? or just wait and tell him if i see him around [which proably won't happen]

I'm going crazy with my girlfriend. We've been dating for nearly two years, and we've certainly had our differences, including two break ups last winter, but we've managed to get through. Lately though I've just been numb towards her. I can't seem to find that spark between us anymore. I feel like I'm on autopilot with this girl, and it's killing me because I don't really want to break up with her- I just want to be interested in someone again. Part of me simply can't let go of this girl (I took her back when we broke up earlier), but part of me is really doubting we're really worth anything outside of just dating.
I'm no cheater, but the thought has crossed my mind more than once. I figure the fact that I'm even thinking this way is a bad sign.
Can anybody shed some light/offer some advice on this?
