What if the guy is so shy, he won't look at you at all?
I mean, not even a glance, when I walk in the room at college. He looks about my age, 28-30. He's in 2 classes with me, but for four days. He had no choice to smile back at me once, but because he accidentally looked at me? what is wrong with him? Does he not like me at all? Or is he too shy? A rather close friend of mine is having her 16th birthday on december 25 (yes, christmas). I'm not quite confident on what to get for her sweet 16th. I do have special feelings for her, and wish to get her something special. Sadly, jewelry is out of my reach; i cant find a proper place to buy them near me.
I'm planning on a buoquet of roses, a box of ferrero rocher (she loves them), and a little teddy bear (i mean a little 2 in. x 3 in. x 1 in. bear). Oh, and of course a birthday card as well. Will this be a good idea? Any better ideas? preferrably a romantic type of present/gift please.
However, the school christmas break starts on 22 december, and i won't be able to meet up with her on her birthday. the 21st will be a half school day, and we'll be going to the movies and shopping with some other friends. I'll have to give it to her on that day. Should i give it to her in the morning when we meet up at school or in the evening before we separate and return home?

A bit lengthy...sorry :(
My ex and I were together for almost 2 years (He is 21 and I am 20). He was my first love and I was his. He told me that I would be his future wife and the mother of his children. He even said that I was the best thing that ever happened to him.

After he switched schools (not long distance...our colleges are very close), he began to recieve ALOT of attention from the females at his new school and he was very flirtatious. There were even a few instances that girls called him after 1am! I told him this bothered me, he said they were only friends that that he would stop. I began to ask him if he wanted to date other girls and he always told me no because he loved me and only wanted me.

Soon I discover that he kissed one of these girls. He says it was a mistake, but I end things. About a week and a half later, we reconcile, but then he confesses that although he loves me and wants to give me the world, he is not ready for a serious relationship right now.

I asked this girl out a couple of years ago online (HUGE mistake, BAD move, I KNOW). Before I had asked her out, I was kinda like one of her friends (a very dorky, yet still charming little dude). I did everything wrong. When I asked her, how i asked her, looking back, I dont even know what I was thinking.
Since then though, I've grown up a lot. It used to be I couldn't talk to a pretty girl without freezing up, but now, I can joke around, chat and whatever. I've also noticed her noticing me... like whenever I see her walking around campus, our eyes meet, and she smiles... at football games, she'll pick me out of the crowd... stuff like that. And now, she's in my first period science class, and the way she looks at me, the way she talks to me, and smiles at me when we're working together, makes me feel really confident.
I've gotta know; can a girl have changed her mind about you just by watching you? answers please!!!!

I dont want a club cause its to noisey I thought of maybe a hookah lounge but I dont smoke. I really dont care too much of the idea of a bar cause one might spend to much time on the drink and never get around to talking about real stuff. Its cold outside(chicago) so theres not much to do outdoors. Any other ideas, I ran out... Going out to eat isn't good either, its just like drinking you get to involved in the food. A couple of weeks ago i went on a trip to Poland to visit Auschwitz and i met a guy in my group that i only really said one sentence to. I've been dating my boyfriend for almost 2 years now. We live together with his room mate, and are moving out on our own come January. Lately Ive been feeling so lost.. like I dont know who I am anymore. And I've been feeling like I just want to have fun, not be in a serious relationship. But he's so perfect. Hes what every girl could ever want. Hes so nice, sweet, funny. He helps me out with anything i ever ask ( and lots of the time I dont even need to ask). But I just feel like its not right for me right now. Am I a terrible person?! I dont want to break his heart .. but I dont want us to move out and then break up and then he has no room mate either!
