I was on vacation with some girlfriends and we met a group of guys. I really could care less because I was in a relationship. A few months after the trip, I received a random text message from one of the guys (the only one I thought was attractive) telling me about how he cant get me off of his mind. We've been talking and texting for 5 months now and he really wants me to come out and visit. It has gotten rather intimate with naughty messages and picture/video mail. So, I finally booked a flight and hotel last week. I called to let him know and I also sent him several text messages, but now I am getting no response. Did I get played? Do you think he is just freaked out because now it is real and no longer a fantasy? I am so confused!!!

My parents organized a neighborhood party at our house for today, without telling me till yesterday. They didnt tell me probably bcuz they knew id be upset, here's why:
A boy who is my neighbor asked me out in 7th grade (last year), but lets just say he isn't my type.... so sadly i had to say no. We havent talked since, but my friends tell me he still Really likes me. Im upset because the party starts in less than an hour and he's coming to it. I have a feeling its gonna be extremely awkward, because my parents will probably make me talk with him since we will be the only teens at the party. Please Please Please help... how should i act around him?? What should should i say to him?? And how do i escape to my room without my parents getting mad at me (or acting rude)??? help plz...!!!

There's this person, and I've liked him for about two years. We used to actually be able to talk to each other without getting into a fight, but now, we are kind of enemies (well, I don't consider him my enemy). By time I had actually gotten the nerve to say something, it was too late. According to him (what he tells his buddies), we've always been enemies, which I know damn well is NOT true. It bothers me. I am so bugged. I wish I could somehow regain his respect, and I know it will take a while, because this obviously can't be rushed. I know many of you will probaly tell me "Give it up, it's hopeless", but in the situation, it isn't easy. I believe this has nearly driven me literally insane, and if it were anyone else, I would have given up. I'm willing to do just about anything- I will put in time and effort until I can find a good solution. I have seriously asked people in real life, looked up things on the internet (I know- I even sound crazy), but nothing has helped.Suggestions?

This guy I talk to tells me things that, sometimes I wish he wouldn't: But in a way I like it because it means that he shares secrets with me that he won't tell his family or most of his other friends. Does that mean he trusts me completely?

i read (in 'the rules' i think) that you should let them pay, as it makes them feel more manly or something. I'm quite happy to let him pay, but i don't want him to think i'm tight with money or rude if I don't offer to! this is really awkward, how do i gauge if i'm supposed to offer to get the next round?

Well, my best guy friend is really nice to me. We've been friends for three years, and time to time we had signs to each other that we liked each other. On our graduation night, a girl forced him to dance with him and he did. I was completely shocked. One year from that, I thought I got over him, but I really didn't. Over the summer I tried to think about other guys, and I knew I would never htink about him ever again. I thought we would never get together again as even friends. I knew he sort of liked me, but we didn't belong to be. We were so different. He deserved someone better than me.
But when I saw him this year, I couldnt stop thinking about him and stop falling in love with him. He is just so nice to me, maybe I just like him because he's the only guy who would ever appreciate me romantically. I wish I could just move on to another guy. I tried really hard, but my feelings always come back for him. What do I do? Even if he did like me, he's too good for me.

When I am out, I can talk to people and have no problem with it. I am not shy with that. When I see a guy that is hot and looking at me, I somehow cant think of anything to say. I have a great personality, I just cant get over the shyness to talk to a guy that is showing signals of interest. Please dont say I am shallow or whatever for asking how to talk to a hot guy, they are not for serious relationships, just a date or something. Thank you for your help!

Use examples and share some of your experiences.
Thanks :)

There is a guy that I go to church with and I really like him he makes me smile when ever I see him. He lives with one of my friends so it makes it easy for me to see him or make an excuse to go and see him. I really don't know how to tell him that I like him due to the fact that I don't know his status and that he's so HOT that I clam up everytime that I am near him. He's a good man, and I don't feel that he would put up a front. I never see him with any girl at church, he usually sits with my friend. How should I approach him, I've asked him if he wanted to go with the group to applebee's after church but he always has to go home do to his job and having to be up at the crack of dawn. If anyone has an idea to get his attition let me know I am going crazy trying to think of ways to ask him out without feeling like an @$$.

Okay, so there is this guy that's friends with my uncle. He's only a year older than me, so don't worry. My uncle told my Mom what happened, and she told me, just so you know. Him and my uncle were driving to his house, I guess, and they saw me walking somewhere. This is exactly what he said, "Who is that hot blonde?" (I'm not bragging, I swear, I'm just trying to figure out what it means!) So, my over-protective uncle punched him in the arm, haha.

I want to know if any of you guys would date a girl you thought was hot, or are they just make out material, or make out material but you would give them a chance, etc.?

Also, here's a question for the girls, if I wanted to talk to him, to see if I like him, which I do, what should I do about it? I never see him, and I don't want to say anything to my uncle, because he wouldn't help at all. I could find out his number, but that would be creepy to just call him out of nowhere.. Thank you!

Ie a virgin or semi virgin in early 20s only done it a coupel of times and hardly dated and no relationships longer then a few weeks

=

someone in late teens say age 17 who a virgin or semi virgin in late teens only done it a coupel of times and hardly dated and no relationships longer then a few weeks.

Same experience. lots on common.

no this is not me a but a typical example to illustrate the point.

Likewiase how can the guy be preditory if hes virtually or is a virgion who has not been successful with girls by early 20s he clearly is crap at pulling ergo no seduction skills let alone manipluation skills.

Also work out matury in terms of interests.

ie if they like the same bands, clubs, parties, films etc

Clearly have lots in common.

Why not hang out with those his age.?

Clearly most coupled up and the girls have all been in log term relatioshipships with lots of exp so nothing in common with them.

If couple happy, whats the prob.?

Yes, I want a girl to care about how she looks. However, that is not the most important thing to me. Where do all the smart girls go. All I can find is dumb girls at the bars and parties. Do smart girls not like to party or what? I have limited success talking to and hooking up with dumb girls. Unfortunately, my sense of humor doesn't really translate to them so I can't make any real connection. Where are all of the smart girls hanging out at?

I might go on a date soon with a guy who works out everyday, plays intense basketball games every week, is a vegetarian and is generally very health conscious. I on the other hand only exercise 3X a week (and would like to lose about 10lbs to look my best). I'm not fat, just average. I'm also not a vegetarian. Do you think the relationship is doomed from the start? Have not met the guy in person yet, just met on a dating site and exchanged photos. His emails to me are awesome.

I like this guy, but I didn't find out until I already had feelings for him that he has a girlfriend. He's never mentioned her to me, and I only know she exists because of facebook. She lives a few hours away. He invited me over the other day and I had a lot of fun. He was really sweet and interested in what I had to say. He and his roommates, who just formed a band, played for me. They said I was their first audeince member ever. He kept looking over at me while he was playing (and maybe showing off? One roommate seemed to think he was, but I don't know if that was b/c I was there or if he always does that). Since I don't have a car on campus, he told me I can call him anytime I need a ride somewhere. After he dropped me off back home, he sent me a message telling me that it was good seeing me again and that he had a good time.

I know he isn't a player, because he's just such the caring kind of person, but I can't tell if he likes me.

What do you think? What should I do?
