I might go on a date soon with a guy who works out everyday, plays intense basketball games every week, is a vegetarian and is generally very health conscious. I on the other hand only exercise 3X a week (and would like to lose about 10lbs to look my best). I'm not fat, just average. I'm also not a vegetarian. Do you think the relationship is doomed from the start? Have not met the guy in person yet, just met on a dating site and exchanged photos. His emails to me are awesome.

Bballer I'm kinda shy and so is the guy. There's no reason to be rude.

Differences are a good thing. Dating someone just like you would be boring, because you would know everything about them from day one. Learning to respect the differences is a what a relationship is all about.

i don't see why not. I exercise everyday and play several sports and my gilrfriend exercises about once a week and we have no problems, though the vegetarian thing may make it a bit harder when it comes to meals i couldn't even think of giving up my meat

i don't think the relationship is doomed. if he is considerate and doesn't pressure you too much (to become a vegetarian, for example), i think it could work out.
