I was on vacation with some girlfriends and we met a group of guys. I really could care less because I was in a relationship. A few months after the trip, I received a random text message from one of the guys (the only one I thought was attractive) telling me about how he cant get me off of his mind. We've been talking and texting for 5 months now and he really wants me to come out and visit. It has gotten rather intimate with naughty messages and picture/video mail. So, I finally booked a flight and hotel last week. I called to let him know and I also sent him several text messages, but now I am getting no response. Did I get played? Do you think he is just freaked out because now it is real and no longer a fantasy? I am so confused!!!

Possibly. It's titillating and exciting when it's just over the phone, or in text, but now it's put up or shut up time. Maybe he's got a girlfriend and was using you as a stimulation aid or something(I know that sounds pretty crappy! It was done to me!) Or maybe he said something to you about what he would like to do and you were like "Really?!?" And now that you're going to come out, he's like "No way I can do that, I'm not that big, whatever." You live you learn, what I would do is try to get one of your girlfriends to go with you and the two of you tear it up with your trip. Send him pics of all the cute guys you meet on your trip to his town and rub his face in it so he can see what he missed. Don't return his calls or texts. Let him stew in the pot he made!

OK, I'm a guy (when I looked in the shower this morning confimred it) :)
I wouldn't say you got "played", but I would say he is scared and not responding. If you're in a relationship already, why are you conversing those type messages with him? Women like you are bad apples and I would stay away from you as well. Women are always saying how men cheat, etc, etc. What are you doing? I feel sorry for your b/f.

His wife found out about you? I agree that you were merely a fantasy. He is afraid that if you come there for a sexually charged casual weekend that you will fall for this dude then want to move to wherever he is. If you just want a booty call you should save your money and find someone local.

It sounds as if he never thought you would take him up on the plan. Well, it's his loss and just enjoy the vacation.....it is up to him at this point to contact you; but I really don't know if you should even acknowledge such tardiness.

his girlfriend probably was out of town, and he was bored and lonely, she's probably home now, or he could have been doing this to see if you would respond so he could show his friends your text messages and nude pics...wow that's messed up
