Some people seem to put on an act to win someone's heart, and they just be so bad after they got what they wanted. If you have a boyfriend/girlfriend, how long would you wait to understand more about him/her before you get married?

Hi all. So theres a guy.. lets call him "John". We have hung out before, and before i know it, he asks me out. we both knew we liked eachother. But the thing is, i cant have a bf right now. My parents are overprotective and i would never be able to see him. its the gods honest truth. he seemed really broken up. he told me he has "never felt this way before" and im "the only real thing" hes had. but i just cant be in a relationship right now. In the future we could, and i said that. so fast forward to the past few weeks. he now talks to me about the girls who like him, and how he is going to "ask out" a girl. so im thinking "UM WHAT?!"
but instead i go "oh yea?" John: "ya..so is there anyone you like?anyone you want to go out with?" and of course,i say "maybe..we'll see" John: "ya theres going to be lots of 'game' for me next year". im @ a loss for words. John: "ttyl bye". now, he is hanging out with sketchy girls. jealousy ploy? or does he like still likeme?srry 4 lack of info.no room

Well i told my ex who i went out for a week that i hadn't had a boyfriend and that i was a virgin. ok i like this guy his name is jesse and at the end of last year (freashmen year) i told him i liked him in a note but he didnt say anything to be but of course i gave it to him like the 2ed to last half day of school.. and i dont know if i should tell him i still like him.. i really want to .. we are really good friends and this whole summer i couldnt stop think about him.. i want to kinda ask him out to go to the movies or something!! scenario: my ex and i loved each other deeply. we had been friends for a long time and it just progressed. then she just decided to end our relationship for some reason that i didnt desrve to know. she fed me the i-still-want-2-be-friends crap and i bought it. she said that she didnt want to have anything to do with me, dont call, dont talk, just stay away. love didnt mean ****! she still loves me! we just cant be together b/c circumstances MIGHT make things difficult. or so she tells me. i havent spoken to her in nearly 2.5 years. as she requested. havent dated anyone since. her face always fills my mind w/ doubt and i **** it up. i'm over her, bu not the way it ended. she, according to a mutual friend, isnt over it at all. hasnt had a bf since. seen her several times since but never spke to her. she apparently doesnt understand why i'm "being cold and distant to her" i would like 2 talk 2 her 2 either close the past or try again but idk how she would react if i called. wht wld u do?

okay my boyfriend is 22. we grew up best friends for 11 years and never dated. we were always like brother and sister.. now were dating. he got a divorce with his ex wife sometime between last summer and march.. he recently dated a girl who knew back in the day and dated for 3 months starting in march.. he never kept her comments on myspace and everytime shed tried talking to him hed ignore her. he keeps my comments and even writes me on his aim profile.. and puts in a relationship on myspace where as for the girl of 3 months he had it then changed it to single before they broke up. he told me recently she was a rebound and he was sorry but she was.. and he never talks about his ex wife.. unless i bring it up.. and when i asked him how he felt about her.. he started cussing about how he wants her to die.. i want to know if im the rebound as well as the 3 month girl. he says he loves me and im the greatest girlfriend ever.. and if yall think im the rebound girl.. how can i change that

My girlfriend of 1.5 years has someone who she says is now just a friend but who keeps calling and texting her(once a week or so). this guy took her virginity but is now married to someone else, nevertheless he feels the need to stay in contact. he is in the military now and stationed in texas but I can't help but feel that he is holding on for a future rondeveau when he is done. she tells me that he calls her frequently and on at least one occasion has requested that she talk dirty to him to which she said she declined. also she says he keeps telling her how things are going bad with his marriage. from my experience guys do not generally want to be friends with exes unless they still want something else too. am i crazy and reading into this too much? things are going very well between us and I don't want that to change but I really want this guy to just go away. how do I effectively tell her that I'm not cool with this?

So I got my crushes number and I called her and we talked for 5 minutes then she said she'd call me back (which she didn't). She missed the next day of school and the day after she saw me at lunch and walked over to me and hugged me and talked to me. Why she act like that??
