So I got my crushes number and I called her and we talked for 5 minutes then she said she'd call me back (which she didn't). She missed the next day of school and the day after she saw me at lunch and walked over to me and hugged me and talked to me. Why she act like that??

If she didn't come to school that day, maybe something happened. Casually ask her about it. She obviously still likes you if she's hugging & talking to you.

She might of been unwell and didn't want to tell you - the hug might have been her way of saying sorry without going into details. Unless she does it again I would carry on like nothing happened.

Maybe she got sick or something, since she wasn't at school the next day, that might be the reason. She must like you though since she came to talk to you when she get back to school and since she hugged you.

Maybe she honestly got caught up in something and couldn't call back. (Like a parent using the phone and not letting her) - give her the benefit of the doubt - if she continues to respond to your advances then move forward - if not - then let go and move on.

Shes nervous.I don't think she wanted to come off as too eager by calling you back right away.You know what that means? Shes scared of losing you!!!!!!!!!

she must have been shy, and called a friend to get advice, and the next day of her not coming it shouldnt have been because of you, but im sure she likes you if the next day she hugged you and talked to you, its just girls try to be hard to get, but when they like a certain guy, they just cant help of doing something to get their attention, in this case she didnt call back, and 2 days later she hugged you and talked to, which is in a way flirting.
