guy friend flirted with me about us hooking up. the thing is he has a gf overseas and is engaged to her and knew I developed a deep crush on him. We exchanged a few words about getting together like where we do it, and if we would use protection, etc. I was really falln 4 him and he told me that it was best that i focus on someone else. anyway a few days later, I texted him to wish him Happy New Year's and he didn't text back and i got upset and called him a dog. I then wrote him a note apologizing to him and suggested that we stop texting each other about sex. Weeks later, he looked at me like he was angry but still said hi. I emailed him asking him if he was still upset and that it might be best that we treat each other as coworkers. he replied back and told me that i was too weird and that he was just jokin and that i should get some friends and a bf. Now I don't talk to him or even look his way, since I have mixed emotions about this, embarrassement, guilt,
anger, sadness.

I am interested in hearing any experiences, good or bad, concerning online dating services. Are there any agencies that are better than others? Is the whole thing just a crock?

Does anybody have any advice for me? I am very shy person and when I talk to women I want to end the conversation as soon as possible. What can I do to be more relaxed around women and just be my self?

We've known each other longer than we've been a couple and a few times now he has promised that he will never hurt me. I'm being realistic with the fact that it is still a fairly new relationship and even though we love each other he's not promising that he will never break my heart (end the relationship) but rather that he would never intentionally do or say anything to cause me any pain while we are together.

Am I right in thinking that way? Of course I don't want to lose him and I do see the potential for a future with him but I don't want to assume he's already thinking of spending the rest of his life with me after only a few weeks into our relationship, (we've known each other for 7 months). Or could he?

I cheated on my gf cuz I was so drunk... When I got home, I jump in the bed with her, and she starts to undress me and realize that I had a condom on... I forgot to take it off. So she ran out the house. What excuse should I use?

I have a girlfriend who flirts with my best friend and other guys. She also doesn’t include me in on parties and other fun things she does. Is this normal for girlfriends to do that? I love her a lot but I feel mad at her. I feel really mad about that but maybe I’m overeacting. This is the first time I’ve been in a long term relationship so I’m sort of new at all this. Should I feel mad?

I've been off and on with my boyfriend for 5 years. We've had 3 official break ups, and several breaks. When we got back together last time, I told him I was tired of playing games and it had to be real this time. Three months ago we got into an argument and he decided once again that he wanted a break. Three weeks later after a lot of fighting, we got back together again. Recently he's been talking seriously about getting married in may. We've even been ring shopping. Last night I ended up finding out that during our break, he was really interested in another girl and talked to her/hung out with her constantly during that time. Turns out the only reason he got back with me (which he has now admitted) is b/c he thought i might be pregnant and he didnt want me to face that alone. I wasn't though and he's still with me. But I'm not sure about marriage when he wanted another girl 3 mos ago. he doesnt know how much i now about this girl. should i tell him my concerns? or blow it off?

I don't want to do the stupid thing where you replace one jerk with another. I know that i need to be alone for a while just to sort through my own feelings and all that has happened. But i do still love this person even though i know the possibility of having a good healthy relationship with him is impossible.

Any tips for dealing with a painful break-up, light at the end of the tunnel, words of wisdom, anything helpful?

hi...i'm a 19 yr old girl. i stay in a hostel away from my home. we guys at the uni have nights out every weekend. once i met this guy over one such weekend and we had a fling...just a one-night stand. i didn't even look back at that chapter in my life. last week my i went home and my elder sister introduced me to her fiance. she was keeping it a tight secret from me. i got more that a surprise! it was the same guy...omg i couldn't believe it. and he was so cool about it. he shook hands and told everyone that we met had once. my family and sister were so glad about it. i felt so awkward. i have a feeling he knew i was his fiancee's sis even before my sis introduced us. how could he be so cool about it? i feel so queer.....he's gonna be my bro-in-law and i have to be in touch for an entire lifetime. i can't even confide in anyone over this. wat do i do? this is really awkward for me. i'm back in my uni hostel now and everytime i talk to my sis i feel so so so awkward.

Guys are so easy to deal with. Ask a straight question, get a straight answer. (exceptions of course but they are rare). However when you ask a women a question like "what do you want for christmas?" they say they don;t want anything big etc but if you actually get them something small they are disappointed? That is just one scenario. Why do girls read so much in to WHY we ask certain questions or WHY we do certian things. Guys don't do this ulterior motives and social examination thing. Why do women make such simple situations so complex?

I've been seeing a lot of talk on here about race, and interracial dating/marriage; from what I read, many seem to assume that black men prefer white women... but there's no black women that prefer white men! Is this true? I don't think so; I've dated outside my race for many many years now (sorry WASPs, I'm not coming back!), and my criteria was always; I don't want a woman who'll "settle" for a white man; rather, I want one who prefers, or even exclusively wants a white man. In my experience, there's many out there, so let these isolated people hear your words!
