I have a girlfriend who flirts with my best friend and other guys. She also doesn’t include me in on parties and other fun things she does. Is this normal for girlfriends to do that? I love her a lot but I feel mad at her. I feel really mad about that but maybe I’m overeacting. This is the first time I’ve been in a long term relationship so I’m sort of new at all this. Should I feel mad?

yea of course you dont want her to flirt with other guys thats horrible if shes supposed to be committed to you. also not inviting you to parties is crazy too. you arent over reacting at all. i would just talk to her about it but be nice when you do becase you want to solve this problem.

I'd be pissed if my girlfriend always excluded me from her fun life. Once in awhile having a night with the girls is terrific, but you should still be included in her social life most of the time.

As far as the flirting is concerned, it depends on the flirting. What kind of flirting is it? If it is just joking around, then it is no big deal. BUT... if it is more than that, you shouldn't just be mad at your girlfriend. You should be mad at your friends. Perhaps you need to discuss this with them.

In any case, it sounds like you and your girlfriend are due for a serious talk about your relationship and what it means to both of you. It is hard to tell from what you say here, but it sounds like she might not be as serious about it as you are. Talk to her!

it's not normal man. My girlfriend tries to get me to go with her to everything she does because she likes having around. If she doesn't include you in parties then she's there to flirt with other guys. You shouldn't be mad, you should break up with her and find someone worth your time.

It depends on how far the flirting goes and if its real. If she doesn't invite you to parties or fun things, invite her to do something or ask if she minds if you went with her to spend time together. You should be able to read her actions and be able to make a decision on how you want to handle the relationship. Dont mean to discourage you, but she may just not be that into you.

No it's not normal, she is seeing how much she can get away with and it seems from what i,ve read she can get away with quite a bit. Do you really want a girlfriend that is not going to count you in on parties? Think about this for awhile. Is she really worth the heartache you will suffer in the future.

She's not your girlfriend. If she's not including you in parties and other fun things, it's because she doesn't want you there and wants to be with someone else.

No point in being mad, but there's no point in trying to continue with this relationship, because really.... there is no relationship.

Why do you care if she flirts, as long as it's not with YOUR guy!! And it is not normal to not invite your friends to parties and stuff - she sounds kind of selfish and self serving - sure you need someone like that as a friend?

You are not overreacting, yes you should be very mad. When two people are in love, you need to give love to get love, but in your case you are giving love and getting nothing in return. She maybe bad news, but you should investigate first to be sure, sometimes woman will try to surprise their man with all kinds of things out of love, and you sometimes can't tell which way its going, so make sure, then react.

You should not be excluded from all parties although you both need to have time apart with friends too. Either find a compromise or find a new gf!

Are you kidding?? I'd be PISSED!

I would never flirt with other guys or exclude my boyfriend from anything!! And I expect the same from my man!

Looks like you're with the wrong girl... Sorry, but you should just break up with her. There are girls out there who won't treat you like crap, I promise!
