I've had guys online claim to love me or be in love with me, and we'd never met or even chatted extensively.
All that proves is those people have absolutely no idea what love is.

Im that way. I fell in love on the first date and confessed on the second. I have been dating this girl now for 5 months and we're both happy. Grant, she did think it was a little strange at first, but after a while she thought it was cute.

I have that effect on people......I'm not trying to sound conceited either, I'm not......It happens to me all the time, everywhere....generally I am a very likable person, I'm very polite and I have a likable personality.....alot of you would disagree, because I'm usually very evil and outspoken here....A girl's got to have a little fun.... and you don't know who I really am....I have admirers at gas stations, at the gym, at work....But I have respect for myself, and I always throw them off while being polite. My teenage daughters friends have crushes on me....I find it flattering....Although, sometimes it's not so flattering....there's this lady at the bank that's starting to scare me....she embarassed me with her compliments in front of everyone one day.....But the last time I was there, she opened the door for me on the way out, and watched as I drove away.....I think I'll drive the extra miles to the next town next time! (anyway, if I were a lesbian...I would go for the pretty type, like me...he he)

yeah and it's really creepy to think that there are people like that out there who "fall in love with you" even though they've never talked to you (and yes, they absolutely have no idea what love is) and they just watch you if you have them in a class, etc.
it's really weird. it sucks.

Yeah, I've had that happen to me once, but it was NOT love. They just THOUGHT it was love. Love and infatuation and lust are three different things. In my case, the girl was just infatuated. I was not interested, and she got over it.
