Time heals all wounds. I am going through the same thing, and I have found that it's almost impossible to turn your mind off, but if you try to keep yourself busy with work or friends, it helps. For me night time is the worst, but I try to keep focused on something else, a good program or movie on TV, nothing sappy, a good book, or call a friend and talk. It may take you a long time to get over this person, but just remember, it's her loss not yours. The more you convince yourself of that the easier it is going to be to move on. Start asking other people out, even if you don't feel romantically about them, you will still be out there making new friends and having fun at the same time. Do not sit at home and think about her all the time, you are just going to make the healing process take longer. Get involved with a singles group or something. Good luck to you.

honey, if she's already moved on, then there isn't much more you can do except do the same. it will take a while to get over her, but you will, in time. you need to get out and do things with other friends and meet new people. don't sit around and wonder where she's at, what she's doing, who she's with, etc.........that will only make it worse. ever hear of that saying " out of sight, out of mind"? just move on and have faith that the person you're suppose to be with is still out there! go find her!!!! good luck

Thats the same question im asking myself. You move on by not thinking about her and doing diff kinds of things to keep you busy. spend time with old buddies, meet new people and pray for your hearts recovery. Forget about the love you still have for the girl. In time you will you will heal and in time you will again smile. Good luck!

If lovers are truly, madly, deeply in love with each other, both of you will find a way.

time dude.....realize that it didn't work....don't compare her ability to move on with your life. Some people take a short time....others (me included) take real time to ensure they are past it and ready to move on.

Make yourself happy! Know that you can't change her mind, or say and do anything that will help your position. The only way things will ever go back to you dating, if she makes the decision herself, of free will.

You can't change it, so you shouldn't worry about it.
