Singles & Dating - 26 June 2007

I don't know how he feels about me. I think he might like me, but I'm not really sure. I can't get him out of my mind. I've see him in my dreams a lot since I admitted to myself how I feel about him. Everytime I think about him, I get a funny feeling in my stomach, and I feel like I'm going to puke. What should I do?

We were acquaintances for a couple of years...saw eachother out a couple weekends ago, flirted a lot, ate out with friends. He called the next day to say hi and we decided we were too tired to hang out, he told me to call him. He calls the next weekend really late...i call back just out of curiousity...he wanted to see me and was upset bc i didnt call him. He comes to where im at...his friend ends up grabbing me...the guy i like apologizes for him and they get in a fist fight. We go to his house and just lay in bed and talk until we fall asleep, nothing happens. We were supposed to meet tonight to go to the mosque...we are both muslim (im american)...bc we are trying to get back into religion...we talked the other day for 30 minutes and he said he would see me today. I called and he didnt answer. He didnt call back and wasnt at the mosque. The other day after we talked for 30 minutes i later sent him a text saying "i cant sleep"...was it bc of this that he didnt answer today??

We walked into church together and before I knew it he was about 8 feet in front of me and I was following him into the church. I do not think a man should walk in front of a female, maybe with her, but not in front of her. I am so serious about this when we get out of the car, I walk off without him because I feel like he will walk in front of me and I think that is disrespectful and rude. Is it me? Do I have a hang up that is ridiculous? Should he slow down and walk along side me?
My father never walked in front of my mother and I have never had a man walk in front of me.

children are getting younger and younger these days having sex. so what age is appropriate to begin that talk? how young do you go? what about graphic content/how much detail should you go into? this is not a talk you should only have once with your children so how many times should you discuss this? i have had a talk with my two oldest, but i want to see how much info they took in and can remember. my to children are at different maturity levels mentally so should i talk to them at seperate times again or should i jus t kill two birds with one stone and talk it out to the both of them at the same time? i really think i should do it seperately

a friend of mine that knows that I've liked him in the past and i kno that he's liked me in the past......oddly in the movies sends shows me his fone with it writen "i like you" i like him too and so a lil while after i tell him but when i was about to tell my bf (girl) his bff that he says no I'm like okay.....but when i saw him in the begining when i walked into the movies he showed me his fone and it said "you look nice but don't tell jess i told u that" i didn't but i did tell her that i he told me that he liked me... we start goofing off during the movie and flirt and playin wit each other's hand......anyways 2 days later hasn't talked to me hasn't sent me text, called me not even and IM.....whats his deal why did he tell me? what was his purpose? did he really feel that way about me?

We've only talked on instant messanger for a few weeks and he already says he loves me. He is from another country, but has lived in the U.S. before. He says he doesn't have any friends and that is just the way it has always been. He says that he doesn't want to hang out with any of the guys from around his area because "they are all show-offs". He offers to do outrageous things for me such as send me a videotaping of a show that I used to be able to watch but now can't. Does this sound crazy, or like love obsession? So I go over to this house and meet this chick karli through my friend and coworker antonio and while they became a couple I was supposed to keep karlis newly single friend melissa company. So we were all chillin right started drinking and I pretty much stop paying attention to melissa because she was boring. Me and karli talk a bit while she's with antonio who's stoned out of his mind. We get along great. Now here's the problem. Later that night she tells me things like I understand her so well I'm awesome etc. Then she says to me that I may think she doesn't understand me but that she does. I say prove it. She tells well have to talk later. I tell her I'm looking forward to it and she says she is too. Now a day has passed. I sent a txt to her asking her if her and everyone else wanted to come over friday night and this is what she sends me "Does antonio still work with you? Well i dont really talk to antonio anymore but well see what im doin friday."

I have umpired baseball for a softball team for a number of games now. I joke around and talk with some of the players on the team. One player, who was exceptionally friendly and talkitive to me, had her friend ask me for my number after the game. I gave it to the friend. Now i think that may have been a bad idea. She is going to be a freshman, a well developed one at that, in high school and i am going to be a junior. What should i do if she calls or wants to hang out or something? Should i be friends with her? I dont want to be mean, she is nice. I just think she may be too young. Thanks!

I hear all the time that if you have feelings for a girl u should just let her know so u dont live with the regret of never telling her

yes u may get shot down/rejected/whatever and may even ruin a great friendship

so people say dont tell her u like her but show her with ur actions/by what u do, that u like her

is this true? what is the right and wrong things to do in this situation?

I think i may have given off a big hint to a girl that i like her and i havent gotten a response back from her yet (not good i know) but as long as she knows its good right? or no?

ps - in the past ive liked a girl and never told her and she got a bf and then i was like damn i liked u, and shes like oh u never told me

My personal Banker is cute and I think he finds me attractive as well. He looks deep into my eyes and smiles alot when I see him. I would like to go out with him, he wears no wedding ring and has no pictures of a wife in his cube. I havn't dated in a long time but I do know I do not want to be the one to ask him out. Ok. I went and hung out with my cousin today at the pool. Me and my cousin (He's a guy) are really close. He's almost like a brother to me. Anyway, today at the pool, he brought a really good friend of his. And he is REALLY cute! I have met this guy before, but he was like really not-cute then. But at the pool today he was really nice to me and stuff. I met some of my friends at the pool and there were like, "Hey. That dude really likes you!". I might not want to go out with him cause he's my cousins best friend, y'know? Do you think I should go out with him?

This guy who we are just friends ( asked him for his feeling he said he just wants to be good friends)

When ever I call him I feel so happy! I always call him so much and text him! We I want to share the good news with someone he is the first to know! We never see each any more for it summer! Sometimes he does not answer but when I ask him to call me back on text he calls me back 10 hours later!

I am moving in a couple of days. And I have barley seen my boyfriend outside of work. Right now I have a lot going on, but I am constantly pushing everything aside so I can make time for him. He keeps making plans with his other friends, completely ignoring the fact that he already made plans with me or that I only have 2 days left to spend with him. Could this be his way of coping with me leaving? Or does he not see a big deal about me moving, and doesn't care that he wont see me for months at a time when I get a chance to visit?

To make a long story short: I was with someone for 5 years and after breaking up we tried to make it work again, but he ended up starting seeing someone else behind my back, and then moved in with her after 2 months (after getting kicked out of his house). He has withdrawn a lot from his family and friends since being with her, including me. So, my question is this: how do men move on so quickly like this? It took me 4 years to get him to move in with me, but he starts dating this girl and moves in with her almost immediately. Not only that, but she's not his usual type...his behavior changed so much that even his family thought he had gone crazy! Guys, please help and give me some insight...i would greatly appreciate it!

I have a question. I'm finding that girls are staring at me quite often these days. It's kinda strange. I'll see women out with their significant others yet they'd be eyeing me etc. Single girls in their little cliques also.

They just look and I'm really shy and quiet and I do my own thing.

I would think that if they were interested they would come say hello. But they don't. Is this an intimidation thing where I intimidate them or something. I'm very confused.

I don't know how to read them. I don't get the intense staring thing.
