sometimes i write lists of names i might want to give my future children. i could also spend hours online looking at engagement/wedding rings. i'm in my mid-twenties, and not in a serious relationship. is this weird behavior, or just normal girl stuff?

it is so normal!
haha i have known a whole list of boys names (and only a couple girls names but hey...) since i was 12 or 15 or something like that...
and i've tried on wedding dresses before too. it's fun pretending and stuff that way when you're ready and you get in a relationship you already know what's up and what you want and stuff and that way you don't have to spend forever with all the technicalities. :)

normal girl stuff. I started with the names (which were also good for writing stories) in Jr. High, then started wearing rings that looked like engagement rings in High School, when i didn't even have a bf. Now i'm 27 in a relationship and i not only moved up to dresses, but i have my rings picked out and already "named" our kids,when we're not even engaged. I guess it's just "wishful thinking" :p

I think it is normal girl stuff. Not all do it though, but nothing wrong with it. It is fun to dream of the wedding day or what ring you'd like or your kids names. We all have imaginations, why not use them?

I did that and still have the list of kids names. A few years ago I pulled it out and went through it with my husbad. I think it's normal girl stuff.

No not really! Wishful thinking! Its always nice to look at what you want and what you will have one day! I used to look at wedding dresses. To find the perfect one. Its just a girly thing!

normal. you're ready for a family, and the right age. my mom said she used to do that too when she was about 26.
