Why do girls stare at me all the time?

Hey,

I have a question. I'm finding that girls are staring at me quite often these days. It's kinda strange. I'll see women out with their significant others yet they'd be eyeing me etc. Single girls in their little cliques also.

They just look and I'm really shy and quiet and I do my own thing.

I would think that if they were interested they would come say hello. But they don't. Is this an intimidation thing where I intimidate them or something. I'm very confused.

I don't know how to read them. I don't get the intense staring thing.

Well from being a girl I know that I sometimes stare at a guy and hope he catches me because maybe he will get the hint that I am interested or something. But people ask this question alot of times. And I answer it almost the same way. Staring is kind of a 2 way deal you cant notice someone staring at you multiple times unless you keep looking at them. Unless a friend tells you but I'm on a roll here! Like the song " I see you watching me watching you" Exactly

Women don’t want to feel as though they are completely responsible for your happiness and that is what it feels like when the other person has no outside interests. Men who are overeager or jump when the woman says jump are the ones who are more likely to end up in the friend zone. This doesn’t mean that you should play the game of not calling for a few days; it means that you should set healthy boundaries until you both naturally find a spot for the other in your lives.

Now this may sound strange but it is normal, guys are attracted to girls and girls are attracted to guys, girls will stare at you dude no matter if your good looking or not.
At my job girls and women do stare at me all the time it doesn't mean anything though. Sometimes girls and women stare at you not because your cute, but because they know your a nice guy, heck I am not hot but handsome and I am a nice guy, so I assume girls know that because of my kind and friendly appearance.

P.S- girls and women have this, should I say sixth sense they can see and figure out things we men can never figure out. My opinion is they think your good looking...but then again how can we tell? :) right? :)

I don't know about the not-single ones, but my opinion on the single girls would be that most girls feel more comfortable if the guy is the one who comes up and says hi...the staring is just them trying to make eye contact to get your attention. If she smiles and all that, try finding an excuse to say hi.

If you are talking about really intense staring, though, maybe you grew a second head? haha, just kidding, i wouldn't know in that case.

I know it's a big self boost to think that they all think you're hot like the other poster said, but a lot of girls don't stare at guys for that reason. They could :
A) Think you're cute
B) Think you're really weird or
C) YOU'RE just paying to much attention to them. When a guy stares at me to much I stare back, maybe you're doing it without noticing? Either way, there is no good or accurate explination for why they are unless you ask them.

grrrr I hate it when people stare at me and I dont know why it. It makes me feel like there's somethings on my face and I should go find a mirror to make sure. ~ But my friend told me it was because they probably thought I was cute (hope so!!!) Any ways if you think this is the reason you should say high to them. Girls dont like to make the first move they are probably starring at you because they like you and they are wishing you would talk to them.

Well, does your demeanour scream conceit or arrogance. I'm pretty hot myself and had the same problem that you're having, maybe even worse. The men loved to see me coming and the women loved to see me going (it was just that bad). But a male friend of mine told me that my swagger was giving off arrogant vibes. I didn't change, i just cooled down a notch. You can be as gorgeous as you wanna be, just don't let it go to your head. If you stop giving off "cocky" vibes, the women will start approaching you more often.
