I have a really screwed up situation.

A few days ago, best friend, whom I've known for 10 years, asked me to set-up a date with a guy friend, whom I've personally known and mentored for 7 years. I agreed to help her because she's really shy around guys.

Before I could arrange the date, I went on a blind date that was arranged by my best friend's brother. And guess who was my blind date? The guy who I've mentored for the last several years! Do I love him? Yes, because he's the first guy I've met who is not a chauvanistic idiot like all the other men I've dated. He doesn't see me as a trophy. Plus, we have the same interests and stuff.

The only problem I have with going to the next level is the fact my friend really loves him, AND she trusted me to set up a date between her and him. I told this guy about the situation and how she feels about him.

Both this guy and my friend have been with me through thick and thin. I don't want to lose either of them! Please help!

I don't know what has gotten into me recently. I love the whole white van man thing. I'm really attracted to gorgeous scaffolders, builders, electricians and things.

Does anybody know why this is? I want a boyfriend with a van! It's really strange. Maybe something to do with my ex working in an office and things didn't work out.

I know this is a really weird question but does anybody know why I'm attracted to these men so much? All of a sudden too? Any girls in the same situation?!

I cheated on my fiance with my ex. I knew my ex would tell on me (in the past she has shown she is crazy and had the balls to do it). She warned me that she would and I kept talking to her. She even showed me that she had emails we had sent to each other. I told her if she wanted to tell my fiance to go ahread and tell her what she wanted, just don't tell her parents. I think I subconsciously wanted out.

So I have tried to talk to my ex again. She won't talk to me. She is dating a guy, says she is happy and doesn't want anything to do with me.

Why would she tell on me to break up my engagement if she didn't want me?

I have been dating my bf for almost a year now and I love him to death!!! I have been in relationships before where I was "in love" but nothing like this. Well, he is European (and muslim) and he has a completely different culture than me. Sometimes he treats me like a princess and tells me all the things I want to hear, but a greater percentage of the time he is talking down to me (such as pulling all the bad things out of my past and throwing them in my face) or just calling me stupid or immature when he knows im not perfect and dont like to be called those names. Its just plain and simple: rude. Well ive tried to talk to him about it several several times (every time we fight). He tells me he'll try harder to respect me and he's "sorry". Well, for a while now Ive just been dealing with it but lately im not sure if i want to stick around for that kind of verbal abuse anymore... Once again hes a great guy and someone who I would totally consider marrying other than this one issue. ???

Well, my boyfriend told me that he thinks he liked this girl more then me and not to worry about it. ((but it was his ex-girlfriend)) So, of course I worried about it and talked to her about it. ((like any normal girl would do.)) she told me that she didn't like him and I wouldn't have to worry about her ever liking him. So, me and him were on the phone and I was waiting for the perfect moment to tell him that I talked to her, but her brother called yelling at him for liking his sister. So, he asked me what I said to her and I told him everything. I apologized so many times and he kept saying "it's okay don't worry about it." So ten minutes later he yelled at me saying I backstabbed him and that he couldn't trust me, but this already happened to us once and we broke up and got back together cause he wanted me. So now its been 2 weeks and I still have so many feelings for him. What should I say to him to get us back together? I've said sorry and everything. maybe you have a better plan.

im pretty stressed at the moment, and just feel like i need so many answers.

the thing is i want to be with my boyfriend, but sometimes i feel like i dont love him, where before i used to be so sure i was (was that just the infactuation zone) but then i get really unhappy at the thourght of not being with him. i care for him and i never want to hurt him, i would do anything for our relationship to be how it used to be.

I was with this guy for a couple of years. We lived together as if married. One day I came home to find out that my home wasnt my home anymore. He took away the only thing I had , my whole life was devoted to him and my kids. I left his sorry butt and he has made my life HELL everysince. How do I get my mojo back? Years ago I never had to chase women, they came to me and due to that, I am not very skilled at the art of "picking up" women. I hate cheesy lines and refuse to do the bar scene. I spend a great deal of time at work and when not at work, I find myself entrenched in my kids lives. The problem is there are not any single women in these areas of my life.

I have tried the online dating scene with no luck. I find it extremely difficult to approach women in public as I hate looking like an idiot.

Don't just tell me to go for it as this is not the answer. Don't tell me to extend myself as I am comfortable with who I am and don't feel a need to stretch. Don't tell me that I have to talk to lot's of women to find one good one because I feel it is degrading to walk around "on the prowl".

The guy i am currently talking to is not divorced yet he has been seperated from his wife for almost 2 yrs. but hasn't filed for a divorce...

What do you think about this and has it worked? seems everyone has dated multiple times before getting married or in the right permanent relationship.
Does dating many times increase your security or self-esteem?
I am 19 and in my first ever relationship with an older girl who has also never dated. We've dated for about 1.5 years. When things are complicated, I wonder if its because we've never dated before. It brings out a possessive quality in us and makes us prone to insecurity. Yet, we want to marry no matter what when we can. Not jbecause we dont want to date another person but because we love each other. Any people out there besides me that want to date and marry one person in life?I hope I'm not messed up for thinking that even one relationship in the past can hurt the person u end up with and ur chastity.
