It could be a number of things, some of which are compliments. He could be afraid that he could get lost in you because you represent all the things he's wanted but previously never found. (That's a good fear). He could be afraid that you remind him of someone from his past that touched him deeply. (That's neither bad nor good, just an open door). He could be afraid that you're so touchy and moody that you appear psychotic and unapproachable. (That's only good if you want him to keep his distance).Since his sister indicates that it's afraid in a good way, I tend to believe I nailed it in the first scenario, and yes, it makes perfect sense..you grown-assed woman you. What are you going to do now?

Being "scared in a good way" to me would mean that he feels scared about the way he feels about you because he just got out of a long relationship and doesn't want to be hurt again.
I've used the same word, because I was falling for someone, but really didn't want to get serious. I finally gave up being "scared"... now I've been happily married to him for 10 years! Good luck!

Well if your so grown why do you want to deal with someone who obviously is on the rebound and had such a hard life. Are you really that desperate or do you have such low self esteem that you can't find someone less complicated. I see why he says he's scared of you, you really have some issues regarding interpreting a person and where their head is at.
