I've never understood the logic behind it, or even if there is any.

Well, I suppose I might understand why women find girly-boys attractive a little, but I might be completely wrong, so I'm asking the opinion of the good ol' Yahoo community.

I have a very complicated love issue at the moment. I dated a girl in middle school and got REALLY physical with her in 8th grade. But after 8th grade I was escorted to a rehabilitation program where I could not contact her for 18 months. At the program I always thought about her and such due to the nature of the relationship and always cried alot. Towards the end of my stay I had begun to get over her believing that it was not ever going to work. I transferred to a regular boarding school and got in contact with her on AIM. So I started talking to her again. I feel really attached to her. A few days ago I asked a question about this. Now I feel that I should get over this relationship and look for something new when I get to college ( I am going to be a senior next year ) What are some suggestions to how I should do that? Do I have to stop talking to her ? I would appreciate any suggestions.

Im scared, Im only 17 with around 4 partners and im pretty sure tucked in tight when i went to bed. could this possibly be something else?

A guy I have liked for a while finally just admitted to liking me too. Things with him seem great, but he keeps throwing in little comments that leave me very confused. He kept on saying things like he loved the way I looked at him and how he couldn't believe how few relationships because he thinks I'm "gorgeous" I am absolutely enamored with him, although I am trying to keep it somewhat hidden...I don't want to scare him away so soon. But then some nights we would be together and he would say that I shouldn't want to like him and that right now he wasn't looking for a relationship because they suck, and that he really wanted to have sex with me but wouldn't because it would complicate things but then about five minutes later he would kiss me and make me swear that I would come visit him soon ( there is a distance between us) I feel like he really does like me, but at the same time I feel like I am getting mixed signals. Is there something that I am really missing here?

I know this may sound sleazy but it's not quite what it looks like. I have seen some recent signs (her looking at another guy while out the other night, letting go of my arm when a guy looks at her) that indicate to me that she is still looking to trade up. Might be a fluke cuz it was only one night but I also notice some other things as well that indicate she wants attention from other men.

So I am surrounded by girls who want to date me. Problem is I foolishly thought the girl I am with might be the one, that she was different than other girls, so I told everyone about her. Everywhere I go they now know I have a girl. Since she is keeping her options open, I want to too. How do I date these single women when they know I have a girl. They don't ask about her and I no longer mention her. They stilll flirt with me. I know you probably think I'm a jerk, but I am not, I have been faithful to her and now that I see that she still wants to trade up I want to too.

Or will it be too hard for you to get over it? Would you be bothered by mental pictures of her being with other men or see her as "used"?

I'm in a serious relationship now and am actually taking things slowly when it comes to sex. However, I was the classic sexually molested girl relishing in casual sex encounters while growing up (I'm std-free, mind you). I really didn't understand that I was simply "acting out" my abuse until I got older and of course I changed myself. No, I don't believe in cheating either.

I know I don't have to disclose such information to my partner, but in case you men find this information about your women....Would you leave her or would be able to forgive if she recognized that what she did was wrong and would you understand the reasons why she did it...especially since there's a strong correlation with being sexually abused and becoming promiscuous.

Ok well were do i start me and her were just hangin out at her house and we were laughing and having a blast Untill we got a call saying that her bf was in the hospitel because her ex bf and some of his friends jumped him. She was freaking out We didnt have a car Because we are 14 and dont have our licanse So we got a ride from my brother and we were running and crying at the same time and we found his room....We broke down crying he was brusied up swollin lip bleeding head You name it! She didnt want to go anywere All she wanted to do was stay there with her bf. Ok so i really like this guy and he acts like he likes me sometimes and we flirt we used to have really good convorsations on the phone but we never talked at school. He doesnt really like my friends but the other day school got out and our conversations havent been the same we barley ever talk and when we do its not like it used to be!! A million years ago I went out with this guy a couple times. I let him down gently and told him I wasn't interested. Since then I have had no contact with him. he still tries to call/ send emails to try and talk to me about once every couple of weeks for about 3 months now. I can't ignore him any harder! Well Im 20 years old, half way through college and Im still a virgin. Ive fooled around with guys but still i am a virgin. If you were with a guy for 4 years. And everytime yall got into a fight he would punch you in the face and one night he tried to rape you. Your with him because if you left you would be homeless. Most of the time hes a good guy except for when you two get into an argument. Then one day you met a good guy and yall both liked each other but he didnt have a job. would you stay with him until he got one, or would you stay with the guy that was controlling but nice except for when you got into an argument. Plus he wouldnt let you go see your family or go out with your friends unless he went with you. Then he started asking you to marry him.
