I have a very complicated love issue at the moment. I dated a girl in middle school and got REALLY physical with her in 8th grade. But after 8th grade I was escorted to a rehabilitation program where I could not contact her for 18 months. At the program I always thought about her and such due to the nature of the relationship and always cried alot. Towards the end of my stay I had begun to get over her believing that it was not ever going to work. I transferred to a regular boarding school and got in contact with her on AIM. So I started talking to her again. I feel really attached to her. A few days ago I asked a question about this. Now I feel that I should get over this relationship and look for something new when I get to college ( I am going to be a senior next year ) What are some suggestions to how I should do that? Do I have to stop talking to her ? I would appreciate any suggestions.

That relationship was bad for you and in the process you have changed. Why take two steps back when you can take two steps forward with life. Once you get yourself straight then you can think about being with someone. As for her detach yourself from her, she may not be the reason why you went to rehab., but you need an alternative solution then contacting her. If you can get over her you can get on with you. When we change our lives we changed everything around us and that's what you need to do.

College is some of the best times you will have and your gonna want to be single. Have fun memories about her but move on, and the best way to do that is to shut down the contact you have with her. You don't have to be a dick and blow her off completely but cut it way back. Your gonna have a lot more girls like this in your life. I'm 25 and have had some great experiences with different girls and sometimes you have to give other girls a chance to make you feel like that.

Chances are, once college comes around you'll go your seperate ways. Its probably best to move one. Just because one particular girl seems perfect for you, doesn't mean there's not more out there.

Listen to ur conscience, if u feel any emotions or love for her then stay with her. If ur relationship was just physical then ur just habitual of having sex with her. U need to get over this. Differentiate between both. Then u will yourself get to know wat u wanna do . Was it ur first physical relationship coz first physical relationship are hard to forget.
