Singles & Dating - 1 June 2007

I really, really like this guy.. but he has bi-polar and is on several medications. Is this a horrible idea? Should I run or not judge him right away. I don't know much about the illness... thanks. oh, he's on 3 different meds. one of his meds is lithium... is that extreme or is it normal when you're bipolar to take lithium??

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 2 year and we are exclusive only for the past 3 months. Throughout the realtionship I dated other people and he did not. Now he can't get over the fact that I have been intimate (no sex) with other men. How can I help him to forgive me and to focus on the present and future and not the past?

I got out of a long term relationship (3 years)
about 3 months ago. He breaks up with me for no appearent good reason and has since found "the love of his life"- (which I think he left me for) but anyways, I checked my voicemail and he said something along the lines of " You know who this is, when you get this you better call me back or I will blow up your house you silly female"- now I know he would NEVER do that.. but was that some sort of cry for attention?

So heres the deal... i've known this guy for about two years already but we just recently started, about 2 months ago, actually "talking" or whatever. Anyway he's a super sweetheart and every time i see him he treats me kind of like his girlfriend. But i am not sure if thats what he wants and is just afraid to admit it. (just a little background info... he hasnt had a girlfriend for about 3 years and his last and longest relationship lasted only six months. Oh and I have been single since January, my last relationship was 4 months long and my longest relationship lasted 2 1/2 years.)
The point is what do I do about this guy? How do i know if he really cares?

My bf and I can really talk together for a long time about literally everything, if the topic is good. (Politics, Global Warming, society, different kinds of marriages, sex, etcetera, you name it.) But he sometimes say that he doesn't talk a lot because of his personality, but he can talk A LOT with me, so I'm not really sure... well i had this ex boyfriend and we were doing great but he end up knowing my older sister longer than me but one day she had found my boyfriend on myspace so she started tallking to him as well.. but he end up breaking up with me and end up with my older siter so a year past and they broke up and he started talkin to me telling me that he made a huge mistake of hookin up with my sister so im like wtf.. he's been talking to me for the past month and i told him that i will never be able to forget how much he meant to me because he hurt me so bad so he's also said that he is gonna try to do everything he can to win me back...so im scared of making another mistake

So this is a little wierd, but if you've kept up with me on yahoo answers, you know my ****.
Anyway, my neighbor raped me. He spent the next few days running in and out of his apartment and smoking and looking nervous. He called one of our mutual friends because he wanted to talk about what happened with her.
I reported him to our University and told our neighbors about it. He's still saying he thinks it was consensual. I was drunk. He admits that.
Anyway, everyone is saying he feels terrible.

I don't know what to think. I typed out a list, very unemotionally of everything that happened and he is reading it now (I presume). I asked him to fill in the blanks of what happened. I doubt he'll do it unless I put pressure on him again.

Anyway, does he sound like a first time offender? I really don't want to ruin his life, but I want him to face what he did and how wrong it was. And NEVER DO IT AGAIN.

Well it's like this. We have been together for almost 4 years now...yet recently her feelings to explore have taken over her and she is going to study abroad this summer and has started liking this guy in her work place. She wants this summer after studying abroad to try to find out how she feels about me but says currently that all her feels toward me have become those of being a best friend rather than a boyfriend. I really miss her and feel that she is the love of my life. Weird thing is though that when i try to hold her and stuff she and I both feel happy and safe but by the next day it's like how it was before again...anyone have an idea of why this is and should I wait for her and keep hoping that she may come back for me after the summer?

Potential friendship in the making?
I have a friend that was my former college teacher... we talk alot on email since the class has been over and today we met for lunch. We aren't good friends yet but it would be nice to really get to know her. (we are both female by the way). Like when she saw me she greeted me with a hug and said "Hey, Girly!" I was just wondering if this means she sees me as a good friend like I see her as. She told me that she wanted to go get pedicures soon. She is pregnant also and about to have her 1st child and I feel that when she has her baby in a month or so she will forget about me. Does she seem like in a way where she wants to get to know me more and hang out and all... What do you think? Also.. I tried to give her my number and told her to call me but she says email would be best for her right now.. so that makes me think shes not comfortable enough with me like she doesnt know me enough yet.
