what do you do when your boyfriend says mean things to you but when i try to talk to him he says it was just a joke..what do i do....help!!!!

I think its time for an "up-grade" not your computer, your boyfriend! Find a nice guy that doesn't insult you; He is supposed to be winning your love! If he is treating you this way now, it will be worse when you are married! You might overlook it if he was drunk, or if it happened when he was having a really bad day, but if he's doing it routinely, its time to move on! PS I'm a guy, and I know how they are!

Hmm... sometimes men are just being dorks, but women are more sensitive and can get hurt easily by what a man thinks is a good laugh.
But the line is crossed when you have told your boyfriend his comments hurt and he does it again anyway. A decent guy would learn to sensitize himself to suit a relationship's needs. If you are having problems communicating such simple issues and coming to an understanding, then look at other areas, is he warm and loveable, kind and considerate, or does he hurt you in other ways too? Does he put his mates, work, other plans before you? Does he sometimes not understand where you are coming from but accepts you as you are anyway? Little things count more than the big stuff.
If the pluses are less than the minuses, count this as a learning phase and move on. Love should not hurt, and thats not a line from a song, it means something to two people who care about each other.

talk to him,ask him why he says these things.
if he continues then dump him.
you dont deserve to be treated like this,hes wrong if he cared about you and loved you he would'nt say what he says.
you deserve better and can do better.
