Sounds like a real screwball. You aren't with him anymore and have nothing together so there is no reason you need to call him right? I would SAVE that message for proof though and not call the weirdo back. Find someone who can leave a message that is actually funny without making a terroristic threat, since if the police ever heard that they could charge him with that, it's a real charge and they take that sort of thing seriously. If this is not the first time he has said that or if he ever made you afraid before then you might want to take it seriously and call someone before you end up hurt. Anything else he does that makes say "WTF?" save and document it because if he does get really scary the police want dates and times not just "Well this one time last year but I can't remember when..."

I think this is a sign that you're better off without him because from that message he sounds like a crazy one, as in does he have mental illness or something?? And yes, I think you should save that message or go to the police because nowadays you never know what people are capable of. Threathening to blow up anything is serious.

I would totally stay away. It could be anything but in this day and age people shouldn't stay stuff like that. Don't call him or else you're playing his game. Don't respond to emails. If he comes right up and meets you while you are going somewhere just say you have nothing to say to him and if he persists you will tell his new gf about it. You never know when people are going to flip out. If he's supposidly in love he wouldn't be bothering you.

Sounds like he doesn't know what he want's. He is with this other girl but still calling you, I agree it sounds like he is trying to get some attention from you. Ignore him,he is a big boy he will figure it out on his own of what he really wants.

Well thats not a very cool (even if it is a joke) message. Might want to tell him to leave you alone, he has made his bed and what are his reasons for contacting you? Be careful and good luck.

Jeesh. What a nut cake. Maybe he was drunk. That doesn't make it ok, but did he ever act like that in the past? Maybe you should notify the police.

Call the police. You should not ignore threats of violence, no matter how silly it sounds. And you have evidence on tape.
