My bf and I can really talk together for a long time about literally everything, if the topic is good. (Politics, Global Warming, society, different kinds of marriages, sex, etcetera, you name it.) But he sometimes say that he doesn't talk a lot because of his personality, but he can talk A LOT with me, so I'm not really sure... Should i just leave him in peace when he doesn't want to talk? and What do guys even really Want to talk about with their gf?

Guys have moods just like women, sometimes were up for talking about anything and everything, sometimes we dont feel like it. For me, after work is the worst time to talk to me, I am stressed and tired and I want to turn my brain off and watch tv for a while to relax.
I recommend you leave him alone when he doesn't want to talk. Even though he loves you he needs some time by himself too. If there is something particular on your mind and he doesn't feel like talking, tell him you have something to discuss (tell him the topic if he asks) and ask him to let you know when he feels up for talking, That way you can inform him that you need to talk but he will feel you are respecting his space, He will probably be ready to talk within a few hours typically
As for what Guys like to talk about: anything, let the conversation go where it does, lots of guys like sports, cars, technical stuff, and of course, sex.

Well I now a lot of guys just arnt very social.. he may be uneasy about talking all of the time.. but eventually hes got to get use to the fact u two are going to talk.. communication in a relationship is vital. But I mean if you go on this LONG huge talk.. then he probably doesnt have anything left to say.. what i use to do when my boyfriend was like that.. instead of talking.. I use to give him a nudge every so often.. or a random hug and kiss.. just to let him know i was thinking of him. Goodluck:)

Everyone likes to talk about things that interest them, and the thing that interests people the most is often themselves, unless they are very shy. Some people who do not talk a lot to most people, but do talk to specific people, trust the people they talk to, and trust is important to them. When you trust someone, you become vulnerable. So, if your boyfriend talks a lot to you, it probably means he has placed trust in you. And,,,if you're not sure when he wants to talk and when he wants to be left alone, take clues from his body language and how he answers you. This take some time to learn about others, but if you watch you will learn. Best of luck.

I've been married 16 yrs and guys and men in general do not like to talk much at all!!(At least my hubby doesn't like to) That's just how they're made!! Don't try and talk, talk, talk all the time. Men like to be in their own zone and not talk all the time. Don't take it personally!!

sometimes guys just don't want to talk. there's times when I don't want to talk. men tend to keep their feelings bottled up inside. I am usually talkative but once in awhile I have nothing to say so I'm quiet..... it's a guy thing

well, me being much like your bf, i don't really talk alot either, i just enjoy listening to what my gf has to say and just enjoying her company and that may be what he is like, he just enjoys being there with you and listening to what you have to say. and when i do talk, i am willing to talk about anything and everything with my gf because she is the only one i can really talk to about everything because i know she will listen to me. but if he is like me, he is just listening to what you have to say and thinking about what you say. i take in alot of info and give out a little info but it is very helpful.... it is nothing to worry about.

when he is not talking maybe he doesn't know lots of info about the topic , so don't embarrass him and change the subject , and if he kept silent just ask him about what he is thinking .

I don't think guys like to talk as much as women do. that's okay because women tend to talk enough for both.
