I was with my partner for 6 years, I was very young and believed everything she told me. How much she loved and cared for me etc etc. It was a bad relationship from the beginning, we fought a lot, but she was a manipulator and I was too stupid to see the real her. I loved her, gave her my heart and all she ever did was lie, cheat and treat me badly. Now its over and its been a while, i found somebody new and I cant seem to forget the past and everything that happenned. I want to love again but I cant seem to open my heart up. What should I do?

I'm a regular guy, i like ladys, but I can't seem to find a girlfriend
in my age group. what am I doing wrong? I don't drink, no drugs, I work full time, I'm in good health, I'm not fat and fairly good looking I've been told. Why can't I find a real girlfriend?

Ive been talking to this girl for quite a while now. We are still friends and I want more than that. She's giving hints that she needs somebody to teach her to trust AGAIN. He has 4 relationships in the past already, meaning, she does not trust guys anymore. But I wanna be different from them...I really like this girl and Im looking somebody for me to get married. My boyfriend just came over, we had a great time and we went to the park and he took picturese of us. It is finals week and towards the end of the semester he hasnt been calling as much, but he treats me great. I think that maybe i call him too much sometimes, do some guys just not initiate conversation sometimes. I am scared about being in love for the first time. What happens when a relationship progresses..do you talk less becausee you see eachother more. Do you get more comfortable with eachother. I havent been over his parents house ever, but its really grimy and hes a neat freak. He offered to take me to his brother's though, which is really big to me. He also talks to my little three year old sister on the phone when she is there, and smiles at pictures of her. His eyes smile when he looks at me, and maybe some time not seeing eachother as much during sumer is good? I feel like I get crazy sometimes, is this normal. Is it okay? He loves me. I love him, am i freaking out.

My boyfriend says that I am not affectionate and I never initiate kisses or hugs. He's very romantic and I love that about him and when we are together I know he is going to kiss me or hold my hand, yet he is always mad at me. He gets so mad over the littlest things and calls me names and such and thinks that it is the same as me not initiating affection.

PS we don't have sex..I'm waiting.

i was basically in love with this guy. so i spent a year getting over him because i know it isnt going to happen. exchanged a few emails with this girl on match.com, about 5. we seemed to get along, but this girl said she was shy at first...and so i couldn't tell if she was attracted/into me. she said she enjoyed reading my profile since i sound down to earth and a fmaily type guy....but she never added me on myspace when gave her my llink. she said she talks to her sis on aim now and then..but never exchanged our sns. and we were going on the 6th email...
anyway she replied to me a week ago and ive yet to respond back, and she hasnt contacted me since either.
should i take that as a sign she isnt into me, doesnt notice im gone, w/e, or should i try emailing her back?

the thing is, i tried making the first move (the myspace thing) and she didnt acknowledge. so what do i do now to make the first move? in person its easy, invite for soem coffee, movie, etc...but on match? esp when the girl is so shy... ? what shouldi do?

I'm expected to be perfect in every way I can't ever have a bad day or ask a question. If I get up set because we were supposed to do something with someone but was not told until 20 mins. before they arrive. Then I am made out to be the bad guy. WTF.... If the house is a mess because you did not know company was invited over. Who gets talked about? The women!! She isn't a very good housekeeper. Not they aren't very good housekeepers but she isn't. The women get looked down on if they aren't beautiful and the house doesn't sparkle. I'm so sick of the lack of communication and every thing being a secret that I am half a step from walking out forever. If I have to be tested all the time then I don't make him happy. Or he isn't happy and never will be so I can't be happy either. Should I try and save it. I will not play shrink to make him understand. I don't play games never have never will. The consequences of messing with peoples heads by the unqualified is too great.

I have a friend who is presently a Senior in College and she is preparing to become a Doctor. She has one year of undergrad and then four years of medical school. She is trying to decide whether she should marry before she completes medical school or complete medical school first before marriage. This is a perplexing decision to make. I'm planning on telling this one girl that I like her. The only problem is that it's hard to talk to her alone (other than on the phone) because she's usually always talking with her friends whenever I want to talk to her. That was fine for just day-to-day conversations, but tomorrow I plan on telling her and I can't seem to find a way that isn't rude or something that makes my intentions obvious before I even speak to be able to talk to her alone (or at least without her friends within a 10 meter radius). If there is really no way, then would it really matter if I were to tell her over the phone where I don't have to worry about it? Or what would be the best way to tell her? ... on how to treat women, i.e. how to abuse, mistreat, hit them, etc? so you can keep them around?

It seems when you're really nice to women they get sick of that and end up cheating with a "bad boy" who knows how to push their masochistic buttons.

I'm an easy going type of guy ... not really good at being abusive, so if there's some class I can take to learn how be like that I'd love to join! It might improve my success with chicks.
