i was talking to my gf on the phone (it's long distance relationship right now) and she asked about how this guy was doing. i don't think it would've bothered me if it was the first time, but the thing is i have had this suspicion that there was something between them before and the last time she brought him up, i brushed it off and forgot about it. but this time, it's bugging me, because it's not the first time. i did ask today though if she was close to him and she said she hung out wit him before and talked to him here and there...i didn't want to probe so i just left it like dat....should i gently inquire if there was something...or should i bite my tongue and try to ignore it again??

The girl i want to go out with says she doesn't like dating guys who are younger than her. Im confused because she said this when she found out that a friend of hers goes out with a guy who is 3 yrs younger than her. But im only a yr younger than the girl i like and we're in the same grade. Do you think this would hurt my chances of being with her?

Soo i had sex with my ex we dated like a year ago and the sex was ssoooo good. But we had more of a lust thing then a realtionship thing about eachother. I have a boyfriend that has cheated in the past and i Believe that he is cheating now. I just cant prove it! I am tired of being with him because I shouldnt have to watch my boyfriend as if he were my child. In my mind I wish I could do him like he did me make him feel what I felt but I cant. Everyday I think of what I want in a guy and its clearly not him. I am thinking of a dream guy that at this point doesnt exist. Even when I'm with him I think about how it would be if I wasnt. Could I be cheating with my mind pulling myself away from a guy that I've been with for so long. I just cant get over the past and have found myself in a relationship that I a scared to get out of because I havent found anything better.

I was online with my friend's screen name last night and my boyfriend IMs her thinking it's another girl (because my friend and him had chatted two times before and he just happened to save her screen name). He asks if this is Lisa, but my friend's name isn't Lisa. I decide to go along with it. I tell him yes it is Lisa and he's like wow I haven't talked to you forever, are you still hot? I then ask if he has a girlfriend, and he says no. He then invites her over and I tell him sure that sounds good. I say wow I'm surprised you're "single." He says yeah well I've just had a few girls here and there. WUTTTTT!!!!! I then immediately sign off and begin to call him. He doesn't pick up the first 3 times because he obviously realized that wasn't "Lisa" and figured out it was my friends sn. I knew he was s***ting bricks by this time because he got caught. He finally picks up and tells me he was trying to play a joke on my friend and I. Wut a LIAR....any advice on what I should do? Please help

This guy that I have known for awhile (cuz i went to elementary school with him...and till now in highschool) has recently been talking to me online a lot. We have a normal conversation usually but almost every time he asks how my guy life is and who i like. I never tell him...but he is keen on knowing. he finallly told me one day that if he told me than i would tell him. So he told me that it was "this girl...i think her name is kimberly" and that his friend said she thought he was hott so he might check into it...so then i told him that i wouldnt tell him because thats not fair because no one in our school even is named kimberly...and the people i like actually go to our school and he knows. what do you think? does he just wanna know who i like out of curiosity or does he want to know because he likes me sort of. im not sure..because I dont want to give him the wrong idea if he does like me. ya know?

my ex and i just broke up about a week ago...and i finally told him what tore us apart...and he understood what he did wrong...and last night i told him that i don't really see us getting back together because of what happened....today he texted me and said that hes going to walk away for good and not expect to get back together and that hes going on a date this friday and he doesn't want to think about me.....is he trying to make me jealous? im not hurt becuz i really don't want to get back with him...but the fact that he wanted me to know so badly he was going on a date can't escape my mind...any thoughts?

I am not in the position to buy a house or townhome just yet, so I still have to rent. I was thinking perhaps it may be a better idea to rent a HOUSE instead of an apartment in an apartment complex, etc., because at least in a house, its "stand alone" and I wont have to worry about neighbors stomping on my head, hearing their noise or being subjected to their bad habits that may disturb other tenants.

ALSO, when I go out to have fun or have company over, or a nice young man to spend time with me, I have more peace, quiet & privacy in a HOUSE than an apartment, and I also would not be embarrassed to have company because I will not be around other tenants' "bad habits & nastiness".

Am I right? Or are there disadvantages to renting a house as opposed to renting an apartment, that I am not aware of?

Ladies: Think about this for a moment... Let's say you meet a guy across facebook after he 'pokes' you. You don't know him at all but seen him around campus smiling at you and you smiling back... but no conversation. no contact.

All of a sudden you add him as a friend on facebook but have no idea who he is. My question is...
why would you add someone if you don't know the person?

In other words... if you found him physically attractive would you add him as a friend?

If not... and you are just doing whatever you want to do .. then you just add him as a friend?

I know I'm reading into this too much but it would help to know what the hell is she thinking or better yet... what was I thinking?

Im in the middle of a divorce (final the end of May), and I started sort of seeing this guy. I told him we could just be friends, even after we slept together, because he was not what I was looking for in a relationship, and he wanted a long-term relationship and I can't give that to him... Now I am sort of regreting my decision and Im unsure if I just want someone or if I really have true feelings for this guy. Hes so sweet and he is here for me through everything that I am going through with my ex, and I just feel so happy and at peace when I am with him. I try to be just friends with him, but it always turns into more, every time that I see him... so Im not sure if its just the intimacy and feeling of being with someone that I am replacing, or if I truly want a relationship with this guy. How do you know when you are ready to really start dating and how do you tell what feelings are real?? Im really confused and I don't know what to do? I dont wanna hurt this guy!! Please help!!!

I've heard that guys use this line as an excuse for them not to be with the girl but in other cases, i've heard that this line can be true. Guys separate friendships (with girls) from their love interests, right? Some guys may not want to go out with their friend because it could potentially ruin the friendship....is this all true? Would it depend on the girl? What if she was a good friend AND the girl you've liked forever....are you still worried about the friendship?
