my ex and i just broke up about a week ago...and i finally told him what tore us apart...and he understood what he did wrong...and last night i told him that i don't really see us getting back together because of what happened....today he texted me and said that hes going to walk away for good and not expect to get back together and that hes going on a date this friday and he doesn't want to think about me.....is he trying to make me jealous? im not hurt becuz i really don't want to get back with him...but the fact that he wanted me to know so badly he was going on a date can't escape my mind...any thoughts?

It definitely sounds like he is trying to make you jealous! And of courser your going to think about him going on a date with someone else, you two just broke-up so its all new! And him telling you is really childish and just proves you not getting back with him is the right thing to do!

I think he is just trying to make you jealous, especially if the breakup was hard on him and he didn't see it coming. He might have the mentality of 'hey if I tell her this she will realize what she is missing and want to get back together.'
It all depends on how he took the breakup.

he's prolly mad that when he did cause for you 2 to break up. But like he wants to make u jealous yes. Just let it go but like txt him back and say have fun. Depends on if thats ur style or not.

hey is trying to make you feel bad but if you truly don't want to get back together with him then I wouldn't let it get to me I would say the heck on you and move on cause apparently he didn't care about you that much! Just find someone who you care about more!

you shouldnt be concerned because he is trying to make u jelous! he's mad cuz u dumped him and he wants to get back together. my advice do the same gat a nem guy and give him a taste of his own medicine. its not so fun when the tables turn huh?
