My wife has been gone for about 8 months now, and I was wondering if it's to early to start dating. I am ready to get on with my life and don't want to think about the past anymore.

Me and my EX have spent about 1 1/2 years all together. I had his child in Jan. of this year. We broke up over something really stupid, he called the police on me yet he threw me onto a bed and I hit him back. (he took my cell phone and keys too.) He has been playing head games by telling me he don't want me, then he wants to make it work back and forth. Then everytime he wanted it to work he would try to blackmail me by saying "YOU HAVE TO DO THIS IF YOU WANT TO BE WITH ME." He calls me crazy because I am infatuated with him, I can't get over him.. Everywhere I go there is something to remind me of him and I cry. Anything on TV, radio.. I cry. My son looks JUST LIKE HIM and I am very sad because he says he DOSEN'T love me and wants nothing to do with me AT ALL. I have been trying to GET OVER HIM but I can't. Having a baby with him too makes it real hard, because he fathered y child. I love him with all my heart. I want to be with him. How can I get him back? I can't wait it out either

k so this guy was really fun and nice to talk to at first....then he started being really mean to me and called me a b*tch. which REALLY hurt my feelings.

so, like three days later, i started talking to this guy who is AMAZING! he's never said anything rude to me, and he never judges me. He also lets me know that he cares about me. somethin that guy #1 NEVER did.

so, how do i let guy #1 know that i don't want to talk to him anymore? i don't want to hurt his feelings, but i don't want to talk to him either. *sigh* i don't know WHAT to do. help...please?

I was in the elevator in my building today with a few girls I had seen around but not talked to yet. The two of them had been walking around the building and I saw them come in. When we were going up the elevator one of the girls took off her shoes instead of waiting to get to their floor(7th floor). I guess I was surprised because I would not take off my shoes around someone I did not know unless I felt comfortable around them(maybe at a swimming pool or something like that). It just seemed a bit personal to me. Does this mean she feels at ease around me or is there something else going on here? I know it is a strange question but I appreciate your help.

We were long distance - I arrived in Tokyo this Tuesday from New York. We had been emailing each other constantly since we broke up and we met up Wednesday. We met up at 3pm at Yokohama. He emailed me while I was on the plane suggesting that we meet the next day at that time and place. He called me this morning to confirm the time and place and he sounded nice. I was sitting in class and i look over and this boy is staring at me. So tell me, if you meet someone after a few months of talking and have a great time, think all is well and then in the weeks to follow contact is not as often from one person ( busy with work is the excuse) is that a nice way of keeping just enough contact that you not feel bad that its not there for them or over thinking and all is fine? When a guy wants to break it off do they still want to do that? Maintain contact so you feel better but keep it at arms length or if not interested would they cut contact all together? Very confused?

He claims to love the person I am and my heart but says that he wouldn't "notice" me in a public place before we had met. I have NEVER encountered anything like this. I am not ugly by any means & I have Never had a problem meeting people or with men finding my attractive. I truely think he loves me but how could this really work. We don't have any problems intimately right now but what will happen later. Will he cheat with someone he DOES notice? I just don't see how it could last. And I deserve to be with someone that is attracted to me. He treats me great, he is very nice, caring, sweet and we never fight. Next month will be our one year anniversary and are talking about engagement. I am scared that a relationship where one is not completely attracted to the other just won't work.

I met this guy a while back and now we're pretty good friends. I would like for it to be more but I'm afraid to bring it up. I think he's great guy and I really love him, but I'm scared what he'll say.

Anyway, he's a Marine and right now he's in Africa. I've written him a couple of letters so far (he's been over there about 2 months now and I've sent 5 letters I think...) I really don't know what to write to him about. I'm afraid to write about my life because I think it's kind of boring. I don't do much... I kind of want to tell him how I feel about him but I don't know how to do that or when or if I should just wait. But I would like to continue sending letters. he said he really loves getting mail...I just don't want to bore him. Any intersting topics I could write about?
