I met this guy a while back and now we're pretty good friends. I would like for it to be more but I'm afraid to bring it up. I think he's great guy and I really love him, but I'm scared what he'll say.
Anyway, he's a Marine and right now he's in Africa. I've written him a couple of letters so far (he's been over there about 2 months now and I've sent 5 letters I think...) I really don't know what to write to him about. I'm afraid to write about my life because I think it's kind of boring. I don't do much... I kind of want to tell him how I feel about him but I don't know how to do that or when or if I should just wait. But I would like to continue sending letters. he said he really loves getting mail...I just don't want to bore him. Any intersting topics I could write about?

Go ahead and tell him about your life. He probably won't find it boring. If it would help, you could carry a little notebook and jot down funny things that happen around you or funny things people say.
Wait on telling him how you feel. He probably has enough on his mind right now without having to sort that out. Besides, he knows you care about him simply by the fact that you're writing to him.

Tell him how you feel. Just make it a completely honest, sincere, and romantic letter.
It will not only be refreshing to think of something other than the corps, but he might think about it and realize he feels the same way. Send him your best photo in the letter.
(5 letters in 2 months... might already be a clue to him *wink*)
and not to be Debbie Downer... but God Forbid he doesnt come back. You will go all your life wishing you had told him.

I would definitely tell him how you feel. I'm quite sure that will spark his interests. And I would talk about your life and tell him the things you are doing. It may be boring but who cares. I'm sure he enjoys reading about you. Stop worrying so much

Tell him that you like him I made a terrible mistake of not telling a guy I like him and now he's gone I don't his # or his e-mail.

i like what alice k said and you should kinda wait awile. tell him about your day too-it is something boring per haps but it is normal and something that seems far and unreachable at the moment for him. it is something nice and simple; you ever feel like wanting to kinda just relax or veg or something...it will be nice for him and he will get to know more about you and stay up to date on your life and how you are.
